@mrpyo1 Not as a standard. There's some games I'd always try to get the expensive collector's edition for, but my days with Playstation are counted for. Friend wants me to get Stranger Than Heaven for shareplay so it's probably last new game I'll get for PS5 over PC / Switch 2.

@mrpyo1 I'd be surprised if they offer digital backwards compatibility instead of relying on PS+ Catalog streaming for legacy games, I think there's no way they'll make a disc drive for PS4/5 games.

@xMBGx Extremely likely. My dream for PS was backwards compatibility beast that'd play all the discs and all the digital games, but then they kill disc and PS3/Vita stores... They don't control any series I'd buy a console for and I don't like the company as long as they're in US.

@PlayStation Congrats to Elliot. Disc release is highly recommended, it's fully functional offline so Sony or Square can't ever take it from you. Steam suffers from Denuvo DRM (potentially removed at later date) and Switch 2 has Game Key Card, so physical on PS5 is the definitive purchase.
