@theryanunderhil@TheCriticalDri2 Been saying that for years: making record profits in the retail arm, inflate a massive budget in something its easy to lose loads of cash in like a production then write it all off against. Obvious.
@Megalokarxarias@oroborous Nice summary, and everyone is willing to pretend were not in hyperinflation, and that the drastic shrinkflation and quality fall across all products everywhere isn't happening
@Noahpinion@Barrowwight@NukemRaoul I've tested it in an early medieval reenactment group with a dozen people and a long spear. Trained swordsmen won most of the time
@MannekenPisNAFO@RadicalFalk I'm English and love both countries but disagree on variety lack, you haven't tried, bocks, double bocks, helles, marzens, dunkels, weiss, dunkelweiss, altbier, swartzbier, dortmunder export, munchen, rauchbier, fest bier, I could go on?
@UrbanExplorer00@MattStirner Yeah no idea what planet this guy is on, I've been on 30-35k for a while with two kids and without my wife earning similar we would be sunk. Like have no life at all. I'm calling bs
@ThrillaRilla369 Nope, but when the kids have their own children they suddenly see their own upbringing in 20/20 for the first time. Good and bad its laid out like new and oooh boy is there a reckoning.
@TechPostsEU@PaulEmbery Yeah I feel like every time I sit down to an England game at this stage I can call it exactly, because it has happened that way every world cup in my 40 years
@madroofereh@HolderOftheFire You know, I keep chickens and my roosters die of old age, maybe 10 or 12 yo, They go through a few flocks of hens and I think, you lucky bastard. In the wild you wouldn't last 5 years and would end up in a fox or laid out under the spurs of a young cock. We have it good.
@BonesawMD I can judge people instantly, almost never wrong, except for the odd one in a blue moon I can't get a grip on, and it's them I fear the most
@zekramu Nah bro, financially yes but you ignore all the downsides of the alternative. Uncapped rent has exploded lately, and a mortgage payment is essentially an investment payment (minus interest), rent is a service charge with no return. Also you are at the mercy of your landlord.
@rawespresso And the fun joke is, when you die the government tax back all the value of the property to ensure following generations also remain in debt slavery! A perfect system.
@anon_opin True. But mostly the guitarist is lost in the vibe, forgets to stop and they just just have to turn him down to get on with the song. Source: ten years as gigging and recording guitarist.
@financefraz Here's my two pence, I'm running a shared house (live-in grandparents), with two cars, and both salaries around 30k. The hard truth is we live with no frills. No holidays, no new clothes, everything goes into the kids and replacing broken shit. My car just cost 1k to fix. Credit.
