We need a decentralized future free from government tyranny. It is a uniting position - left and right. At the center is Bitcoin.

@LayahHeilpern I think you missed a good entry spot at 58. We will see if it holds. If you nail this and call the bottom - I will believe you are some miracle guru market timer. If we pop to newer highs and you get dusted - well it will be sad for you.
@ToneVays They only agreed to Segwit so they could have big blocks The users only wanted segwit without the blocksize increase Hence UASF BIP148 Miners capitulated Victor for the users You have a distorted view
@ToneVays There was opposition. The core development team was not aligned with the miners in 2017. Exchanges/Miners/New York agreement people - were vehemently opposed to Segwit. That was the whole point of BIP148. The nodes forced the hands of the powerful.
@x_lab_hub@PeterSchiff@Vivek4real_ There are asteroids that are made up almost entirely of gold. We can mine them one day. Gold will demonetize. Maybe not in Peter's lifetime but it will happen. Bitcoin's supply is limited.
@matteopelleg This sums it up with one corollary:
BIP110 - returns everything to December 2022 Bitcoin rules.
Core - This is censorship and will destroy Bitcoin.
@LukeDashjr@matteopelleg This is sort of the line in the sand for me too. The ordinals and ruins crap also sucks but I think limiting OP returns to < 83 bytes is the only way to save the network.
@PeterSchiff@JoeConsorti Dude - can't you just stay in the gold zone. You've bet your reputation on Bitcoin failing. Saylor going bankrupt. Let the market play out. You run out like a cheerleader every time the price crashes. This is just your ego on the line. Makes you look like a total douche
@LeonidasNFT I say bring the rules back to 2022 - no op ifs on taproot scripts and < 83 K OP returns. If what you say is true - then we remove if in a year and move on. If we get CSAM OP return blocks - can't go back. Personally the OP return is more an issue for me.
@MichaelDunwort1 Truth is nobody knows how the game theory will play out They know this despite their hubris They are hedging It will make history if BIP110 succeeds
@jyn_urso This has nothing to do with her gender/sex She introduced a contentious change to Bitcoin software She could have held off on the OP return limit being lifted She doesn’t own Bitcoin and has limited experience Also didn’t understand sound money
@elkrun21 Truth is nobody knows how the game theory is going to play out Will the miners centralize and reject 110 nodes Hard to know until the actual activation I am cautiously hopeful for BIP110
