A very successful Parliament Trip! Shame @RichardGrahamUK couldn't meet with us but a big thank you to your representative for answering all of our questions! #CryptPolitics
Looking forward to our parliament trip with both y12 and y13! We will have the opportunity to meet @RichardGrahamUK - it will be a great experience for our young politicians
This is such a useful example for multiple modules! Democracy, parties, parliament, and a solid example of the PM needing to rely on the payroll vote in their cabinet!
Y12 - Health and Care Bill passed last night...but only just. 19 Tories rebelled and others didn't turn up leaving the govt with a majority of just 26. No one other than Tories voted for it. Useful for parties, Parliament, democracy and PM power.
Today we had a debate with Y8. It was about giving 16-17 year olds the right to vote. 84% voted YES and wanted to sign the most recent petition!
Great to see students getting involved in politics from a young age 🎉 #CryptPolitics#UKPW
