To end day @goatnetwork just dropped one of the most important threads I’ve seen in a while.

Most people make the same mistake with Bitcoin L2s:
Either they jump straight into BitVM2 papers and get lost,
or they stay at the surface and never understand why withdrawals back to Bitcoin actually matter.

GOAT fixed that with a proper reading path.

They break the network into three things that must work together:
• the user layer (bridge, apps, yield)
• the Bitcoin enforced security layer (BitVM2, disputes, unhappy paths)
• the economic layer (where native BTC yield really comes from)
