The Cryptid of the Day is Batsquatch, first spotted near Mount St. Helens. As its name suggests, this creature resembles a winged primate, standing 9 feet tall with a massive wingspan. It reportedly has some ability to affect car engines.

Today’s Cryptid of the Day is the Mongolian Death Worms–massive, blood red worms that reside in the Gobi Desert. Ranging from 2-7 feet, these worms spit corrosive yellow saliva and generate blasts of electricity to subdue their (often human) prey.

Today’s Cryptid of the Day is the Enfield Horror, an alien entity that terrorized the town of Enfield, Illinois in 1973. It was first encountered by a young boy, who reported that it stepped on his tennis shoes– ripping them to shreds.

Today’s Cryptid of the Day is Globsters. Globsters, also called Blobs, are unidentified masses of organic material that occasionally wash ashore. They often resemble giant octopuses, and suggest the existence of large creatures yet discovered in our oceans.

Today’s Cryptid of the Day is Air Rods, odd rod shapes seen in the sky. Not observable by the naked eye, this odd phenomenon is only documentable by camera. One proposed theory is that these rods are tears in our reality. Others pose that these rods are simply motion blur.
