I'm sharing this GFM page on behalf of a good friend of mine who is currently trapped in Gaza. She is a young mother of 2 children. They lost everything, their jobs, home, belongings, etc. They were living in a tent for nearly 2 years until IDF bombed a tent right by them, and it set their tent on fire. They lost their tent, the few clothes they had, and the bag of flour they just got that cost nearly $1k!!! They are raising funds to buy another tent for $400 and hopefully be able to buy another bag of flour. Please spread the word for this family! They do not deserve this. 💔

❌ Zionist Claim #1: “Who started the Gaza war? Hamas”

✅ Reality: Israel provoked and escalated long before Oct 7.

The Gaza war didn’t begin on October 7, 2023. It is part of a decades-long system of occupation, siege, and apartheid. Israel has maintained a brutal blockade on Gaza since 2007, turning it into an open-air prison.

According to B’Tselem (Israeli human rights org):

“Israel imposes a closure on the Gaza Strip that severely restricts the movement of people and goods and has created a humanitarian catastrophe.”

Before Oct 7, Israel killed over 250 Palestinians in 2023 alone, raided Al-Aqsa, expanded settlements, and attacked Gaza multiple times (e.g., in May 2023). That’s not “self-defense.” That’s long-term colonization.

❌ Zionist Claim #2: “Which side are terrorists? Hamas”

✅ Reality: Both international law and history expose Israel’s terrorism.
Israel has bombed hospitals, starved civilians, and used white phosphorus (a chemical weapon) in populated areas. According to Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International:

“Israel is committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, including apartheid.”

Meanwhile, resistance against occupation is protected under international law (UN General Assembly Res. 37/43). Resistance is a product of occupation. Like Resistance in South Africa, Ireland, and Vietnam. And many militant groups exist because Israel destroyed all avenues for diplomacy.

Many were abducted in night raids or from Gaza during this war.

Even after the November ceasefire, Israel executed hostages and bombed locations they were held in (Haaretz, December 2023). The idea that only Hamas holds hostages is false — Israel holds an entire population hostage under siege.

✅ Improved with USAID report:

Israel denied 80% of aid trucks and bombed aid convoys.” — UNRWA, March 2024

Even the US State Department reported in April 2024 that Israel had “not provided evidence that Hamas diverted UN aid at scale.” USAID also released findings in July 2025 confirming that U.S. intelligence agencies found no credible evidence that Hamas is systematically stealing or diverting humanitarian aid.

Meanwhile, Israeli settlers are literally looting aid trucks at the border, on camera..

✅ Reality: Israel has rejected or sabotaged every major deal.

Qatar, Egypt, and the UN have repeatedly stated that Israel has stalled or derailed ceasefire talks to continue its military operations.

As reported in Axios (Feb 2024):

“Israel pulled out of talks at least 3 times… Netanyahu said ongoing war was necessary to achieve ‘total victory.’”

A July 2025 New York Times article by Israeli journalist Ronen Bergman revealed that Netanyahu personally delayed ceasefire deals to avoid political collapse, potential corruption conviction, and an official investigation into how Shin Bet propped up Hamas for years to divide Palestinians—a strategy that directly enabled the October 7 attacks.

Even the IDF whistleblowers admit Israel uses ceasefire negotiations as a stalling tactic to regroup and continue bombing.
