I have 2 things at my hand, internship at a large brokerage firm, in psx.
Other one is a job offer in a reputable Electrical consulting company in karachi. I am choosing Electrical as safety in career is more important than the shiny stuff at this point.
@PakiSwift@ShujaaAzmi What do u mean apni taraf se???.. I am not sure if u been to a places like baldia, surjani, shadman town, orangi and many more other places... whole towns are involved in energy theft/unpaid bills...
@PakiSwift@ShujaaAzmi The peak demand of AJK is less than 500MW. no other city have more demand then karachi...also the loses are way more in karachi than any other city.. Energy theft is another reason why we are paying 30+ rs per unit.
@PakiSwift@ShujaaAzmi Karachi mein kanup produces around 1100 MW, but its a national asset so its not only for karachi... karachi's peak demand is over 3000MW. Now add the Electricity transmission cost, Electricity Distribution costs. Maintanance, Damage control cost. Etc etc.

They dont have power transformer at every 100m, Power Station at every 1km, substation at every 10km.
We are not only paying for electricity that we use but we also pay it to keep the infrastructure alive.
@jafribois@Invest_Kardo Its very possible..cost of land is only another factor in property value.. A luxury swimming pool can cost u easily 2-3 crore depending on the size...basements are cash burner.. premium kitchens can cost u from 10 lacs to 1cr depending on the luxury u chose to put into..

The demand was 80cr last month when i visited a broker for another property in maymar. And there was a uncle in his 60s arguabally retired from customs bid 40ish cr.. and the owner declined after back and forth the deal was made with some dairy farm owner in 50ish cr Cash.
