Genprex signed a new Sponsored Research Agreement with MD Anderson to dig deeper into the TROP2 and PTEN biomarkers for REQORSA (TUSC2 gene therapy).
This is a direct follow up to yesterday’s AACR poster. They already showed that low TROP2 + high PTEN in the tumour can predict primary resistance (i.e. the therapy probably won’t work well for those patients).

Basically, they want to figure out exactly why some patients respond incredibly well to the therapy (like the one patient who has been in remission for 42 months) and why others don't. If they lock this down, they can cherry pick the perfect patients for their Acclaim trials moving forward, which massively increases the chances of trial success. Loving the precision oncology approach here. 🚀

Ryan Confer and the team are basically saying this could help make future trials way more successful by only treating the people most likely to benefit.

Science side keeps getting stronger, even if the share price isn’t showing it yet 😂
