Bitcoin → Tesla → Google → Zcash in 3 days. This Hyperliquid whale doesn't hold positions, he speed-dates them. Sold Tesla at 360, it went to 382. Lost $919K on Google. Now $18M of Zcash at 10x. Will he switch again before Friday? Part 2 of 2 #Hyperliquid#Tesla#Zcash#crypto #whales
We said one of two whales would break by Thursday. It took 7 hours: a 25x ETH short, liquidated for $18.4M. Now Machi and the Tesla whale are sharing a bunk bed, $8 apart. And this morning a 40x Bitcoin short survived by $10. Part 1 of 2, link in bio #Hyperliquid#Bitcoin #Ethereum #crypto #whales
This Trader Missed $800K on Tesla. So He Bet $44M on Google.
UPDATE, Oct 20, 14:15 UTC: the short broke first. ETH ran to 2,478 at the US open and wallet 0xb15b…dbae was liquidated for $18.4M. Machi survived, and added. The $35M Bitcoin short at 84K closed for a $797K loss before it got there.
On Hyperliquid, one whale sold Tesla too early, missed $800K, then put $44M into Google at 15x. Tesla reports Wednesday.
Plus BTC, ETH, HYPE and SOL: the news, where the big wallets stand, and the prices where somebody gets wiped out.
The headlines said this $98M Bitcoin long was "hanging by a thin thread."
Here's what happened next. 👇
40x leverage. Liquidation at 79,828.
Sunday, $BTC hit 80,644. 1% away.

Then BTC bounced above his entry.
67 minutes later, he started buying Tesla.
$34M of the Tesla perp at 20x.
For two hours he was half of all Tesla trading on Hyperliquid. Price: 349.5 → 365.
Now it's back at 353. This morning he moved margin out of SOXL to keep Tesla alive. New Tesla liquidation: 348.15.

Yesterday we flagged two $ETH liquidation lines: 2,406 and 2,404.
ETH hit 2,391.7. Below both. Neither whale got liquidated. 👇
The $187M whale sold every minute from 17:06 to 17:29 UTC.
11,698 ETH. 1,188 $BTC. About $124M in 24 minutes.
Locked in a $2.35M loss.
Its biggest minute: 17:18. One minute before the low.
Eight minutes later it bought 722 BTC back. $525 higher per coin.
Machi? Took profit on the way down. Last sale at 2,396.7, one minute before the bottom. Up $43K on the day.
The other side:
0x4b0c opened a $26.5M ETH short three minutes before the low. Now down $244K.
0x6998 got liquidated on a BTC long, started shorting nine minutes later, and finished its 40x short one minute before the bottom. Now 0.8% from liquidation again.
Longs sold the bottom. Shorts opened at it. Same 20 minutes.
Honestly? Selling early is still better than getting liquidated. The whale is alive. It just paid $2.35M for it.
Which one hurts more: selling the bottom, or shorting it?
Almost $1M in a week at 7x: 3 things this whale did right #Shorts
Same ETH crash on Hyperliquid. Machi Big Brother got liquidated. This wallet made almost $1M this week.
3 things it did right:
It knows its real leverage. The screen says 10x, but it's $35M of positions on a $5M account: 7x. Liquidation 30% away. Compare yesterday's $187M whale: the button says 40x, the math says 30x, liquidation 2% away.
It waited for proof. ETH hit Machi's line at 2:22 UTC and bottomed at 2,314 at 2:28. Its first buy came at 2:32, at 2,347: after the last big liquidation, once ETH stopped making new lows. Then it bought every minute on the way up: about 7,000 ETH, now up over $600K.
Low leverage buys time. The biggest HYPE long we track bought at $38, at 5x, and is up $58M. In our data, HYPE longs held 6+ months won 83% of the time; under a week, 59%.

A Hyperliquid whale just put $187M on crypto going up.
With a $5.8M account. 👇
Until yesterday this wallet traded stocks. Long Google. Short CoreWeave.
17:00 UTC: it closes the CoreWeave short. −$1.58M.
Same hour: buys 1,111 $BTC.
By 20:00: 1,822 BTC at 40x ($149.5M) + 15,270 $ETH at 25x ($37.3M).
Liquidation: BTC 80,640. ETH 2,406.
Both about 1.7% away.
Meanwhile, 1.3% above the price: a $24M BTC short. Also 40x.
BTC is in a 3% box. Whichever side breaks first gets liquidated, and pushes price into the next line.
And Machi? Liquidated yesterday morning. Seven minutes later he reopened with 320 ETH.
He now holds 6,100 ETH at 25x. Liquidation 2,404.
$2 from the whale's line.
Two strangers. $52M of ETH longs. Same price.
Who breaks first: the $150M long or the $24M short?
3 rules for not becoming Machi 🧯
1️⃣ Liquidations are dominoes: one line breaks, the selling hits the next. ETH −4% in six minutes this morning.
2️⃣ Don't panic-sell into the drop: after the worst liquidation hours, the next day is a coin flip. ETH got two-thirds back in 30 minutes.
3️⃣ Distance beats direction: same coin, same crash. The twins are down $1M+ and fine. Machi's line was 1% away.

$ETH fell 4% in six minutes this morning. Here's who got liquidated, and who didn't. 👇
02:22 UTC: 2,408 → 2,378 in one minute. 100x normal volume.
The 25x long everyone calls Machi Big Brother: liquidated. 1,650 ETH.
Two days, $627K realized loss.
02:28: down to 2,314. A 12x whale loses 1,200 ETH to liquidation near the low.
The low stopped $13.5 above 2,300.9.
That's where $189M of ETH longs get liquidated. Two wallets. Not one dollar triggered.
By 02:55, ETH was back at 2,386.
And Machi? Seven minutes after his liquidation, he opened a new 25x long. With $20K.
We checked a year of Hyperliquid data: in the biggest liquidation hours, price runs about 2% with the liquidations. 24 hours later? Basically a coin flip.
Liquidations are fuel, not a forecast.
The $189M line is still there. ETH is now 2,358: 2.4% above it.
They move like twins 👯
🟢 The twins: bought the ETH dip Thursday, sold Sunday (+$1.6M), bought the dip again Tuesday. Now +$1.9M more.
🟢 The Big Short: long US stocks, +$1.8M.
🟡 Machi (25x ETH) survived the night, still holding. Liquidation 2,469.
