The SEC’s request to file an interlocutory appeal is DENIED. I’m not a lawyer but it seems the Court just told the SEC: You asked me to apply the “Howey” test, I did, and like it or not, you lost.
The most important part of this ruling:
“XRP, as a digital token, is not in and of itself a “contract, transaction[,] or scheme” that embodies the Howey requirements of an investment contract.”
This is a now a matter of law (not up for trial.)
@dickee84@cryptomanran KuCoin just released that they opened deposits of UST & Luna and I just checked and it's true. I also checked and Kraken also appears to allow deposits now. Transfer takes 10-min or so to reflect on exchange.
The deposit and withdrawal services of mainnet Terra (LUNA) tokens are now open.
The network congestion may cause a high volume of pending transactions. Please expect an estimated waiting time of 3 hours.
@SolidStaker@cryptomanran Yeah. Roadmap states that they would take a snap of UST and LUNA holders at the time of the depeg so that was a few days ago and 40% would be allocated to each of total supply of new chain. IF that ever happens
@KeisiSven @83giac @GoethalsSteve@cryptomanran Restoring peg will be hard unless a massive UST burn to bring total UST supply closer to 2B but even if I can get out at 0.5-0.65 UST it’ll be 4X-5X better than now
@dickee84@cryptomanran Terra is back up. You can get your UST out of anchor and into your wallet. Issue is finding a CEC that is allowing UST deposits. I’ve heard people swapping their UST via bridge into wsstSol and then depositing that into a sol wallet like phantom and then swap to sol.
@GoethalsSteve@cryptomanran yeap... same boat... if I sell at a 90% loss and in 2-weeks I see UST at like 0.75 or peg, i'll feel almost worse than taking a full 100% loss
