@vultisig If the interface can’t make the necessary calls to gather and organize information into a clear message for the user, integrating an AI assistant for this kind of task could help, perhaps a lightweight model running locally on a smartphone or PC.
@vultisig And, in plain language, it should tell me whether the contract is safe and legitimate (if it is a known contract), or explain what permissions I am granting and what risks I am taking.
@vultisig If the address I am sending to is indeed the correct one, for added security it would be useful, in my opinion, to also indicate how many times you have interacted with that address in the past and the current balance of the recipient address.
@tayvano_ Next time there’s a news story about a violent crime where a knife is used as the murder weapon, tag all the major manufacturers and blame them as responsible—after all, whoever made that knife profited from it…
@veksonpu@THORChain@CBarraford I have a feeling you’ll be among the first users to want to use this feature once the XMR pool is added—am I right, man?
@mano_crypto@CBarraford@THORChain You have every reason in the world to complain because you wanted it earlier, but hey man, it's coming—come on, give us a smile :)
The gaslighting today is off the charts.
No, a 9/12 multisig unilaterally changing which address is holding funds is NOT “DeFi,” nor is it even “decentralized.”
That doesn’t mean it wasn’t the right choice, but in a truly decentralized system, there wouldn’t even have been a choice.
Collectively, as an industry, we need to grow up and start being honest with ourselves. The vast majority of protocols and apps in this space are, in fact, centralized. I’m not saying this is a good or bad thing, but let’s at least call a spade a spade.
I don't even swear on here, but all the dishonesty, cope, avoiding responsibility, and bullying THORChain and other DEXes for not censoring people's transactions made me go on a bit of a rant.
If you're going to do TrustMeBroFi, get rekt.
Sorry not sorry. Decentralize or GTFO.
