If someone would rather burn than obey, that’s not a statement about God, it’s a statement about pride.
The real question isn’t “Why should I obey God?”
It’s: Why would someone reject the source of their existence, their blessings, and every second chance they’ve ever been given?
Even Iblis knew Allah exists, he didn’t deny God out of ignorance, but out of arrogance. “I am better.” That mindset is what led to his سقوط (downfall), not a lack of evidence.
Islam doesn’t teach blind submission to something unjust. It teaches submission to the One who is perfectly just, perfectly wise, and perfectly aware of what we cannot see.
And the door is always open, no matter what someone has said or believed before.
Twitter has deleted the account of Maher Musalli after he created a video about the ongoing Gaza massacre. The video is amazing, one of the greatest videos made since the crisis began.
I hope Maher Musalli receives support and that the video reaches the entire world because it summarizes a lot.
I pray to God that anyone who receives this video will share it widely to reach all corners of the world.
Not only do we love Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), we resemble him and his mother Mary (peace be upon her) in our appearance, our actions, and our worship.
A Middle Eastern man with a beard, clothed in a robe and head covering, circumcised (Luke 2:21), abstaining from pork, falling on his face in prayer (Matthew 26:39), and fasting for an extended period (Matthew 4:2), His mother covered with a headscarf and dignified in her modest dress (hijab).
If this doesn’t resemble a Muslim, then the truth is being ignored.
Brother @Haqiqatjou, Shaykh Uthman is open to a live, respectful discussion on this important topic.
We hope it will be a constructive conversation, offering clarity and benefit to the Ummah.
You are welcome to join him live on the One Message Foundation Youtube Channel this Sunday, April 26th, at 10 am EST (Eastern Time) 7 am PST (Pacific Time) 3 pm UK time إن شاء الله
@OperHealAmerica@McBrideLawNYC Yeah, reason being is because they rejected him and Mother Mary. Go educate yourself about what they say about them or is the donor money to much to deny the truth?
This isn’t Islam, this is biddah. No where in our scriptures does it say to do such things, even Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself is against such things.
But funny how you don't point out Hinduism, Catholics, and Jews doing such things and are actually embraced.
How ironic. 🤔
The marriage of Aisha bint Abi Bakr (RA) to Muhammad ﷺ reported in authentic hadith collections such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, which state that the marriage contract occurred when she was six and the marriage was consummated when she was nine (Sahih al-Bukhari 5134).
Some later researchers argue she may have been older (around 15–19) based on historical timelines involving her sister Asma bint Abi Bakr, though this view is debated due to no calender was very used by the Arabs.
Historical sources also mention that she had previously been engaged to Jubayr ibn Mut'im, but that engagement was ended before her marriage to the Prophet ﷺ (reported in early biographies).
It is also important to note that in many pre-"modern" societies, including the Arabian Peninsula, Europe, and the rest of the world, marriage commonly took place after the onset of puberty, which was widely considered a sign of maturity in historical cultures.
Do not let current events distract you from your acts of worship, and beware of becoming heedless of your daily portion of the Qur’an or adhkār because of following the news.
Know that during times of trials and widespread confusion, the rewards of righteous deeds become even greater. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Worship during times of turmoil is like migration (hijrah) to me.”
Meaning: you attain the reward similar to the migration from Makkah to Madinah. So do not let the reward of worship during times of trials, heedlessness, and confusion of affairs pass you by.
