Yay! and its ecosystem can be broken down into three core components - Social, Infrastructure, and Media - that interact to provide value to our holders and community. To achieve smooth onboarding, we need to structure an integrated experience and economics that allows users to benefit from all three aspects. Below, we will highlight how each layer interacts to build the foundation and guides us to a future of consumer crypto.
1) Social layer
Yay! is home to over 11 million users in Japan and around the world. The Yay! App is the social layer - building a seamless crypto accessible experience into a pre-existing user social experience. Through our mint alone, we were already able to onboard hundreds of people who prior had no knowledge of crypto. Now, we are on the mission to bring more Web3 native infrastructure and consumer tech into our social layer.
This is where Yay! began, seeing a market need and quickly scaling it to millions of active users over just a few years. As it currently stands, we see this need with the current structure for consumer crypto. Our goal for traditional company expansion is seamless crypto onboarding via our social distribution network. Already, we have seen a surge in users especially as we have scaled our crypto friendly tech such as mission challenges which has now surpassed 1.5M users. Throughout all of this, our holders are at the center of the reward and opportunity structure. Our network base is already the most powerful distribution network for partners and will continue to expand. Over the coming months, we will be deeply integrating the Prime Pass to directly reap the rewards.
2) Infrastructure
Beyond the social and media elements, the Yay! team has deep interest in the progression of digital assets and tokenized ownership. We have been working with the major institutions and brands across Asia to explore this. We are creating a tokenized financial infrastructure that ties into the value proposition for our community.
On top of creating mechanisms to safely hold and manage Bitcoin and Ethereum, conducting payments in both real and virtual worlds, the focus will be on creating a strong infrastructure for asset circulation. Companies and individuals will be able to access the system to digitize capital with token assets.
While this is a distinct initiative than the Yay! App, Prime Pass, and Voyage Program we are excited to share the benefits with the community. Elite ecosystem partners will unlock exclusive access to asset distribution, tokenization, and partner integration, this is all being built out for our holders.
3) Media layer
As already seen with Moriusa, there are ecosystem benefits directly tied to being part of the Yay! ecosystem. Yay! Prime pass and Voyage! Program will bring unbridled media to Yay!’s network and top projects coming out of Japan with strong global potential. Over the coming months, we will be working alongside IPs and companies to give value and opportunities directly back to our holders. The Voyage! Program serves as a bridge to the most well known and prominent companies across Japan into Web3. Tokenizing media will be a means to flow value back to our ecosystem. As our user base continues to scale, the opportunities from partners and networks grow exponentially with every part of that value funneling back to our Prime Pass holders.The future of consumer crypto in Japan starts with Yay! and distribution taking place directly to our community.
