@PeterSchiff@SickdoeCrypto I really like you as an experienced financial person but sometimes wonder, what if you are wrong about #bitcoin ๐ค.I personally think that there is a generational shift towards old believes hence majority will join the #bitcoin party regardless. Just my opinion.
@aidansparkes@DocumentingBTC well, it really depends on what did you spend it on ๐ , food, car, holiday ๐ nice for a while but your saving account is near to 0 because these are not productive assets.
@DocumentingBTC Lets see ๐ค First buy on 18-01-2013 would give you 0.64516129032258btc up to the last one on 20/01/2023 0.000474509132165503btc, ending up with 11.24249882btc * $21074.41 = $236,929.03. If you did this for 7 more weeks since 30-11-2012 you would end up with $347,164.13 ๐๐๐
@aidansparkes@DocumentingBTC according to official inflation (https://t.co/p43wUeubQu) last 10 years would made you loosing 24.79% of total purchasing power and I am sure real numbers are way higher!
@saylor Yes! 1 out of 21M. May not be a lot but in context of 8,012,182,381 people on this planet (https://t.co/TC31MEkYyK) it feels like 381x better from an equal distribution ๐๐๐. HODL
@thecloud9crypto @Emmonspired@adam3us Code can be changed, it is an open source so everybody can make change but that doesn't mean operating nodes will accept this change and that`s the main point. It is a perfect game of economics, one reason why updates of #btc are so difficult to push without a risk of a fork.
@benjamincowen Personal opinion but yellow would be a better fit instead of blue, it gets lost on a chart. Took me few seconds to make it appear ๐ or maybe I am just old and getting blind ๐คช. ~2 more years of pain, damn!
