Before we tokenize all the things on earth, maybe @coinbase should explain to everyone what happened with $wLUNA.
If smartcontracts can be broken with no process for holders to be made whole 1:1 then we are setting up for a catastrophe.
Any thoughts @brian_armstrong / @iampaulgrewal ?
$wLUNA = $LUNA
Uniswap has done irreversible damage to this industry.
Not only do they effectively steal money from unsuspecting retail through the $UNI token, but they have the audacity to charge fees on their front end. They have made 9 figs, possibly even 10 figs off this.
All this money goes to the Lab entity, which frankly wastes said money on stupid shit like this.
You do not hate Uniswap enough.
@brian_armstrong And what about those of us that trusted coinbase to hold our $WLUNA? It appears you funded your own personal wealth off the backs of your customers because I sure as heck don’t see you honoring the immutable contract
@brian_armstrong Why would anyone trust Coinbase when you refuse to respond to the thousands of callouts about the $WLUNA crime scene and the theft of Lord knows how many of your clients digital asset? Honor the immutable contract or at least be a man and speak out with your defense.
@dos__commas@brian_armstrong@iampaulgrewal I printed this out from my account last September 2024 and it valued my 2.2m $WLUNA at £149 Million at £67.97 per coin! - very confusing! - It's valued at £22 in my account today!
Coinbase needs a strong corporate communications team to provide the CEO with a perspective other than only the in-house legal team’s thoughts. It would lead to better decisions and reduce legal expenses. After all, there is more than one court to win over.
Retail investors have been hanging around forever, waiting for an update.
It doesn’t take 3 years to draft talking points. Even if you don’t have a ready solution, you could have a plan that would have supported your leadership.
Don’t tell retail how you are their champion; show them at every chance you get.
Regarding the filing, I have some thoughts but not before @coinbase says SOMETHING.
WLUNA has been a major issue at Coinbase for longer than is acceptable. I could list a bunch of the underlying reasons why it got so bad in the first place, but what's more important is that it’s still illegal - prioritize getting it looked at ASAP. @brian_armstrong
@brian_armstrong What you going to do for those #Wluna frozen assets? When will you unfreeze their Money? It’s been 3 years of stealing their Assets!!! In a way your holding their money from them should be a crime!#Crypto#SEC#Fraud
Hi @coinbase / @CoinbaseSupport - $wLUNA holders are still here and continue to ask for transparency or any information at all with this situation. Avoiding the issue does not make it go away, in fact it makes it worse.
🙈🙉🙊
I have begun the proceedings of filing a formal https://t.co/Q3f94SrgxS tip regarding coi.nbase and @terra_money $wLuna $Luna $Lunc beginning 5/11 and carrying through yesterday’s “resolved” status, all documented through EtherScan, wallet ID attached.
3 years of @CoinbaseAssets suspending $wLUNA
3 years of @coinbase avoiding $wLUNA questions
3 years of $wLUNA wallets valued at $LUNA price
🍻 cheers to the gang.
We are right, but will they do the right thing about it?
@gordongekko Tell him to wake up because there's an erc20 $wluna token that's been getting raped for 3 years.
Are they immutable or not? If so, we have a very big problem.
If not, then... the whole cryptoworld is 💩
this Coinbase hack is absolutely insane
If they have the KYC for the founders of solana, then they have the KYC for every single person that ever used their platform
and this wasn’t even the KYC information like their address, it was the photos from the self verification you have to do when you send a picture of yourself with your passport
this is like 10 times worse than a regular KYC leak
And if theyre so easily able to hack Migos (of all people), then they can hack one of us the second they feel like it
also doxxing his wife is crazy Work and KYC, even at establishments like Coinbase is officially no longer safe
don’t even know what the answer to this is
@freddyriz@coinbase They literally disabled trading of $WLUNA because they’re cheap
WLUNA=LUNA so when the fork occurred, they suspended knowing the new coin would automatically convert.
Suspended on 5/27; hit $19.54 on 5/28 yet nobody from the @SECGov will investigate
CON-BASE 🚓
