We are generally pretty negative about the trenches, which is understandable considering the current state of them.
But there’s one thing way too few people talk about, and something we should all genuinely have respect for:
The initiative from devs to ACTUALLY do things IRL for their coin and community.
Like @MooNamTokPage , who literally traveled from vienna all the way to Khon Kaen, Thailand just to visit Moo Nam Tok in person.
That’s easily a €1500+ trip
Def respect.
And then you have @DavidAttenbara who booked a same-day flight from London to Edinburgh (around £80-£150 depending on timing), then immediately bought tickets for Edinburgh Zoo just to document and support the viral baby capybara narrative firsthand.
What makes it even more special that all the fees are being directed toward adopting the capybara species at the zoo, paying for the highest “Gold” tier, with the goal of eventually getting a community plaque displayed there under the name $DAVID while continuing direct donations to the zoo itself.
That’s the type of effort and commitment the trenches honestly need more of.

Edinburgh, we are here.
Have had very little sleep, but that isn't going to stop us. We came here for one animal and one animal only, solana:7i1GWQawfp7HD9t4zJxp6VZwGAaWcy3vfJqcRcPzpump
First capybara born at Edinburgh Zoo in 18 years going viral on X and TikTok.
On the zoo's TikTok everyone is asking to be named $David Attenbara because it was born around the time as the legend David Attenborough's 100th birthday.

Zoo web https://t.co/eqNSSdnKK8 We have contacted the zoo and since there is no charity option on @donategg for non US countries and the zoo offers no crypto donations yet.
They said we can adopt the capybara species of which their are 3 tier levels we will be paying for the highest level “GOLD” this will give us a 1 on 1 session with $DAVID and a plaque to be displayed at the zoo with our community name. We will also continually be donating to the zoo manually till their fundraiser team get back to us with a personal fundraising wallet.
This is actually the next Nietzschean animal.
This brown bear was just spotted today on top of a high-altitude mountain in Alaska and blew up on X.
What makes this so crazy is that brown bears are commonly only found in lower woodland regions due to their ability to hunt and fish.
So many people are talking about how went up there looking for the penguin.
