@monikasb@JEH2829 @David27221696 @Cancon70 @marketamp @RoArquette@elonmusk You're misusing your own analogy. If you solve a math problem, yes that problem does stay solved. 1+1=2 will continue to be true unless math or physics changes. That does not mean you've solved all problems (let's say homelessness, gun violence, terrorism, etc.)
@MatiRP_4 @IrishGirl2117 @friendie365 @A_Research_Guru@ShoNuff202082 @marketamp @RoArquette@elonmusk Nah, billionaires are a symptom of a sick nation because that means all the money is pooling at the top. 60% of Americans live pay cheque to pay cheque right now. We're going to see more violence at every level and more extreme politics due to increasing inequality.
@Reiteller @truthisjustice2 @Ore__K@Ivriniel Japan systematically raped an entire region during WW2, Britain butchered hundreds of Indian women and children in 191, and neither has even apologized, let alone teaches their own population about their atrocities. Almost every nation is the same.
@Reiteller @truthisjustice2 @Ore__K@Ivriniel That's a stupid take. Not to say that racism doesn't exist there, but Germany takes a much harder line on Nazi's and educating the public about their own atrocities than pretty much any other country. You want to point fingers, Ukraine has a Nazi army regiment.
@lennox_ben@TPSReport@rcm____ Still going to suck spending all that time fixing the repairs. Small landlords often do most of the work themselves, and may find cleaning maggots out of the oven and scooping dog shit out of registers more than they bargained for.
@TPSReport@rcm____ It's not always a guarantee. I know someone who just lost $25K selling their house. They'd been trying to sell for 4 years and finally gave up on breaking even. If you're renting a single bad tennant can easily cause tens of thousands in damages.
@ChrisChes @Charles51680628 @BestAimOnWest @benjamincowen Except banks and governments can buy and trade crypto, just like everyone else. And they can decide whether to accelerate or slow adoption of crypto in their countries with relative ease.
@CryptoG31 @sury_fi It's a smart move because it gets everyone at least a little interested and literally invested in BSGG. The whales with collect for more BSGG through staking than everyone else, so they just need to chill.
@ChrisChes @Charles51680628 @BestAimOnWest @benjamincowen Bitcoin has momentum from being first, but its going to be replaced eventually, just like Blackberry is no longer king of corporate phones. The winner won't be picked by bro's on Twitter though, it'll be banks and governments.
@Paroxic @nandelabra @sazza_jay@DrewFrogger Nope, killing Nazi's saves lives. Their ideology is a cancer that needs to be stamped out where ever it is found. Accepting Nazi's is enabling genocide, murder and terror. It's not a world view, it's an abomination and a crime.
Honestly, people should be happy that Crypto periodically has the bottom drop out of it. It's high risk/reward. If you want something safe go buy blue chip stocks, but you'll only get a couple chances in a decade to go 10x buying blue chip stocks.
@ProVicNation@DocTrott Thinking about things this morning, in fairness corporations and millionaires paying their fair share instead of pushing for a lower tax rate and hiding money overseas still wouldn't make up for government incompetence. We'd all still be in the same place sadly.
