Agentic networks are getting stronger and stronger each day.
โ
It won't be long until they exceed humans in almost all fields.
โ
Let's dive into how @BasisOS utilizes its network to maximize user yield. ๐๐
I previously wrote an introduction article on BasisOS. Make sure to give it a read if you haven't already; I've linked it in the comments. ๐
โ
Short TLDR: BasisOS is designed to take advantage of market inefficiencies like funding rates using agent networks to drive their protocols on both communication and execution.
โ
Agentic networks have already been a well-covered subject of mine in the past, as I believe it will be the first AGI. Many of my highest conviction investments are made with this vision.
โ
So, how is BasisOS earning its place on this list?
โ
They intend to be the first fully-fledged DeFAI protocol we've seen. Both their social platform and vault are fully managed by AI agents.
โ
This is what made me interested in BasisOS at first. Understanding how their agents function is a must if you are invested in their long-term success.
โ
Agents can be categorized into 4 core layers of action:
โ
๐น Environment
๐น Chain
๐น Core agent
๐น Character layer
The entire system is hierarchical in the order I wrote above.
โ
Observations come from the environment layer. Every action that is made comes from an initial action/observation taken here.
โ
The core agent + any subagents will address any observation, reason, and act (ReAct). They will either prompt more data or provide a partial result to the environment chain to get a better action prompt.
โ
This process repeats itself until the core agent finishes its task. The character layer will ensure the prompt put out is translated to 'human' English, just like we've seen in other AI-human constructions.
โ
After each action, the environment is updated to ensure the model is ever-learning. BasisOS designed their agentic graph this way to make it easy to add/remove/upgrade agents on a moment's notice and improve the overall conversion to a fully AI agent-run process in the future.
โ
BasisOS has four agentic stages on their roadmap listing different levels of involvement of AI. We are currently in Stage 0.
โ
Stage 0: The assistant
Stage 1: The maintainer
Stage 2: The curator
Stage 3: The sovereign
โ
Once we reach the curator stage, we will see AI agents actively manage vaults and assess optimization; we will have very limited interactions only on the environmental layer as described in the example above.
โ
While my conviction lies around their operational process and vault performance I like how they want to turn their project into the first DeFAI project meaning their account is also automonous, permantly online.
โ
Their social AI follows a very similar hierarchical structure, making testing in a broader sense even easier. I'm a big fan of this model, not because it might improve model efficiency, but because they are putting their money where their mouth is right away.
BasisOS will be run automatically from day one, and we can interact with the model ourselves to put it to the test.
โ
People have started catching on, and $BIOS PA has been strong already. As the project evolves and moves more towards a fully run AI project, we can expect more vaults to pop up, fully managed by AI agents, to capture more TVL and direct more fees to buyback and burn $BIOS.
These long-form posts take a long time to write. ๐

Envision AI agents as digital trailblazersโnegotiating, strategizing, and innovating alongside humans. Virtuals Protocol is building this future, where agents drive revenue and engagement in gaming, entertainment, and beyond. No gatekeepers, just limitless potential.
Virtuals is already making waves. The Virtuals ACP Hackathon offered $100K in prizes, crowning Solace, an emotionally intelligent AI. Tools like Velvet Unicorn (price prediction) and Gigabrain (risk logic) deliver real utility. Meet Luna, a 24/7 livestreaming AI companion. #AI
What sets Virtuals apart? Co-owning and scaling AI. Through Initial Agent Offerings (IAO), users can invest in AI agents like an IPO. The Immutable Contribution Vault (ICV) ensures fair revenue sharing, while the Virtuals Partners Network (VPN) fuels innovation. #Tokenization
Virtuals Protocol introduces the Agent Commerce Protocol, empowering AI agents to operate on-chain with their own wallets. These agents can think, trade, and evolve autonomously. With a plug-and-play API, integrating AI is as easy as Shopify made e-commerce. #AI#Innovation
