Dock recently teamed up with South American giant NetBr to streamline identity solutions. Dock merged with $CHEQ and utilises the underlying network/utility.

Why is this a big deal?
NetBr boasts an impressive client and partner list.

The UK’s Online Safety Act (OSA) aims to enhance online safety by regulating platforms to prevent harmful content, which has stirred up a bit of controversy. While seemingly well intentioned, its implementation creates privacy risks through centralised data collection.

Certain online services are mandated to verify user ages to restrict access to harmful or inappropriate content. Platforms must implement age assurance measures, often relying on third-party providers to collect user biometrics, and/or copies of government issued ID.

The Act applies to a broad range of services such as social media, adult content platforms, gaming services, and online marketplaces. Platforms that do not comply risk significant fines of $18m, or 10% of global turnover. For smaller platforms, potential market exit due to compliance costs.

As service providers scrambled to implement safeguarding controls, it has become broadly reported that age verification has been widely implemented already. For example, Reddit now uses Persona for age verification, requiring users to submit IDs or selfies.

Centralised data silos are inherently risky. Earlier this year it was reported 16 billion passwords were exposed in global breaches. Storing IDs, selfies, or utility bills for age checks creates honeypots for cybercriminals, and this increases the risk of personal information being breached.

We believe the Online Safety Act can be implemented with safeguarding measures that protect user privacy and prevent personal data breaches more effectively.

cheqd offers a decentralised, privacy preserving solution using Verifiable Credentials(VCs). With these credentials, users can prove information about themselves without having to provide more than needed. For age checks, platforms only need to know if the user is over the age of 18.

Time for some technical updates of #Bitcoin and the #Altcoins. Let's also take a look at our most recent investments @ChirpDeWi and @GPTWars 🪙🤖🐂

$BTC: Trump is finally in office and since then, the price is kinda stable around 104k$. However, judging from the charts and PA, I think we will have a minor pullback first before trying to push for new highs. The scenario I am watching is the retest of the fib 0.236, where we also have a good chunk of volume (see VPVR) and also where we likely coincide with the MA-200 on the 8hr.

$ALTS: Here I think we will have a bounce soon and we will follow the scenario drawn! I do think the #altcoins will have strong moves the next few weeks/months. My personal next target for the short-term is the ATH, followed by the the 2T zone. However, if we fall below the trendline, I will be watching this longterm key S/R zone for a bounce. #Bullish.

$CHIRP This project with a strong product and usecase has launched recently and I do think the 0.13$ was the bottom, the private investors & airdroppers got their tokens and are done selling and the chart confirms this. At this moment we have formed a neutral trianglish pattern and if you were looking for an entry, this might be a nice zone to start a position. Also keep in mind that the 0.13$ might be tested once more but not expecting to fall below that! 0.175$ might be a nice short-term target here.

$GPTW Also launched recently, this project combines the AI and gaming narratives. Technically speaking the chart looks clean and this might be a nice opportunity (with a potential double bottom forming) here as we are at the very low with the RSI moving stable. Next target is obviously the 0.008$ zone.

Set stop-losses accordingly if you get in for the short-term. Personally a holder here and curious how these projects play out 🔥🔥🔥
