Save this. This is the most important post you'll ever see.
With BOTH the 10-year yields and the U.S. dollar rising, here is how to plan for the worst-case scenario. I've experienced this market scenario already in my life.
Markets kept making all-time highs for 4 - 5 months, and then a -57% crash happened in the markets. But rising yields and dollar rising does NOT crash the markets alone. Something UNDERNEATH is typically the trigger.
The 2026 - 2027 triggers would be:
1. Private credit - this is the scarier one in my opinion. Seven major platforms (Blue Owl, Apollo, Ares, BlackRock, and Blackstone) have capped or blocked investor withdrawals. $4.6 billion is trapped basically.
2. Auto loan delinquencies hit a record - 5.5% at 90+ days, worse than 2008 peak (5.3%). The consumer is cracking at the bottom.
3. Commercial real estate is at record deliquicieis - office CMBS delinquiency at 12.3%, higher than 2008 crisis.
4. Corporate bankruptcies at 16 year highs - 372 large filings through mid-2026. Small business bankrupties up 50% as well.
5. S&P 500 is looking a lie right now - every sector fell in Sept except for tech - banks, utilities, equal weight S&P 500, only a few BIG tech names are holding up the markets
6. Six banks have failed in 2026 - small ones, but the most in any year this decade.
I find that the pattern is the same throughout our history; rates stay high, something that was relying on cheap money can't handle it, then that thing breaks, the break spreads to other things, and by the time the Fed cuts rates to fix it, the damage is already done.
So how do you prepare for this since we cannot TIME a top?
1. Raise cash gradually - don't sell everything. Don't go all-in on a few names. Raise cash from work and you'll have the opportunity of a life time waiting for you when the dip comes
2. Buy the 10 year - a 5.35% risk free yield is the highest in 24 years. You can park cash in short term Treasuries (SHV, BIL, SGOV) and get paid 5%+ while you wait. My wife and I have started buying 10 year as well.
3. Watch the leaders, not the index - the S&P is being held up by 5-7 names. When $NVDA, $AAPL, $MSFT start breaking lower on volume, that's your signal the last pillar is cracking. The rest of the market is already weak.
4. Avoid the junk, or size appropriately - small caps, unprofitable tech, high debt companies, anything that needs to refinance soon. The Russell 2000 has a third of its constituents classified as zombie companies. These get destroyed when credit tightens.
5. Quality over momentum - if you're staying long, own companies with no debt, strong cash flow, and pricing power. Think $GOOGL, $AMGN, $BRK. Companies that don't need to borrow money at 5%+ don't care about rates.
6. Don't short the top - the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent. In 2007 the S&P rallied 5% for 4 months after the 10Y peaked. Being early on a short is the same as being wrong. Can hedge with defensives instead and/or raise cash.
7. Have a plan before you need one - decide now what you'll do if the S&P drops 10%, 20%, 30%. Write it down. When panic hits, you execute the plan instead of making emotional decisions.
The goal isn't to predict the crash. It's to survive it with enough capital to buy the bottom and become a multi-millionaire.
Let me clear this up…
- President Trump bought $VST at $160.
- Nancy Pelosi bought $VST at $170.
- Peter Thiel bought $VST at $155.
- David Tepper bought $VST at $157.
- CEO Jim Burke bought $VST at $135.
Meanwhile simultaneously:
$VST trades at just a 13x p/e.
Is down -35% from record highs.
Single handedly is solving the AI energy bottleneck.
Maintains +32% YoY Q2 EBITDA.
Signed 20-year nuclear contracts with $AMZN & $META.
Despite all of this, you can buy this name at just $140 today.
This is a golden egg opportunity…

There You Go: They want money/wealth to stay into system
Ht @bslagter
Warren Buffett purchased Google $GOOGL stock at ~$359 per share in Q2 2026, and you can buy it at $342 today, 16% below its highs.
Make of that what you will.
You all know $ARM made the most money in my life.
It's trying to setup once again and may have found a low for its current cycle already.
Remember this, they design 99% of the entire world’s smartphones and gets paid a royalty from companies like Apple, Samsung, Qualcomm, and many others.
🚨 SOMETHING VERY STRANGE IS HAPPENING
Anthropic will go public in November at a $2T valuation.
The biggest IPO in market history.
And Wall Street is already lining up the buyers before it happens.
I've been trading for more than 15 years and have never seen them build demand for an IPO this aggressively:
Anthropic is preparing to raise $100 BILLION.
Nvidia is lining up as much as $10 BILLION as an anchor investor.
Read that again:
The company selling the chips powering the AI boom is about to become one of the biggest buyers of the AI company going public.
Before the public even gets in.
Why?
Because Anthropic does not just create demand for Anthropic.
It pulls liquidity from everywhere else:
- Retail sells stocks to chase the IPO.
- Funds raise cash for allocation.
- Institutions rebalance portfolios.
- Everyone wants exposure to the biggest AI deal in history.
But here is where most people are looking at it wrong.
They’re asking:
WHAT WILL ANTHROPIC TAKE MONEY FROM?
I’m asking:
WHERE WILL ALL THAT MONEY GO NEXT?
That capital funds more compute:
More compute means more chips.
More chips = more data centers.
More data centers = more electricity, grid infrastructure and raw materials.
The chain is simple:
ANTHROPIC → CHIPS → DATA CENTERS → POWER → COPPER
That is where the opportunity starts.
The first phase of the AI boom was about the models:
ChatGPT. Claude. Gemini.
The next phase is about the physical infrastructure needed to keep them running.
Electricity. Power grids. Semiconductors. Data centers. Cooling. Copper.
I told you to buy copper months ago.
We already locked in BIG profits.
And that wasn’t random:
AI does not run on prompts. It runs on physical infrastructure.
Now look at Nvidia:
AI companies spend billions buying Nvidia chips.
Nvidia makes billions from that demand.
Now Nvidia is preparing to put as much as $10 BILLION BACK into Anthropic.
AI money → Nvidia → Anthropic → more compute → more infrastructure
A $100B raise does not stop at Anthropic.
It works its way through the entire AI supply chain.
The easy AI trade was buying the obvious names.
The next trade is finding the bottlenecks BEFORE everyone else realizes they are bottlenecks.
That is what I’m looking for now.
That is where the next opportunity will be.
Remember, I’ve been trading markets for over 15 years.
I’m already watching where this capital is moving next.
When I find the next opportunity worth taking, I’ll post it here like I always do.

Six times since 2012 Bitcoin has closed a week back above its 50-week moving average after a proper stretch under it.
Four of those were the start of a bull market. Two were traps.
It just did it again. Tonight's issue is how to tell the difference. Link below.

I publicly called Bitcoin’s $17K bottom in 2022.
Then I publicly called the $126K top in 2025.

Some of you are going to learn to respect me by losing money.
Last summer I told you Bitcoin had already topped for the cycle, and for the next two or three months you laughed at me.
I also warned you about the massacre coming in altcoins, and you called me crazy.
Now I’m telling you the same thing again:
Bitcoin has not formed its bottom yet.
There’s still more blood ahead.
You want to play?
Let’s play. $BTC
This is HUGE.
Leopold Aschenbrenner’s Situational Awareness is BACK in the market after nearly blowing up in July.
The AI-focused hedge fund has reportedly been aggressively buying options on AMD, Bloom Energy, CoreWeave, SK Hynix, SanDisk and the Roundhill Memory ETF, according to CNBC’s David Faber.
The bets are surprisingly aligned with Aschenbrenner’s original AI thesis: the four core bottlenecks in AI CapEx.
AI compute: AMD
AI power: Bloom Energy
AI infrastructure: CoreWeave
AI memory: SanDisk, SK Hynix, DRAM
Situational Awareness, led by the former openAI employee, saw its assets plunge from more than $45B to roughly $10B during July’s AI selloff, forcing it to unwind most of its public-equity portfolio.
SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics were among the biggest decliners after DeepSeek said it managed to reduce the amount of high-bandwidth memory needed for its latest model, stoking worries about the outlook for semiconductor demand: BBG
$ZEN
Five years of pain.
Five years of people calling it dead.
And now price is sitting exactly where almost nobody wants to touch it.
That’s what makes $ZEN interesting to me.
The ATH is still sitting at $168.
The chart projection goes even further - toward $200.
From these levels, that’s roughly +7,967%.
Will it happen? Nobody knows.
But this is the kind of setup I like:
maximum boredom
maximum disbelief
maximum asymmetry
The crowd will discover $ZEN again when it’s expensive.
I’d rather watch it while nobody gives a fuck.
