The inflation cut from 5% to 3% is now visible in WFLR delegation rewards, with network average APR moving from 6.8% to 4% by epoch 400.

FIP.16 is starting to show up in live network economics but the bigger point is not simply lower emissions.

The proposal changes how value flows through Flare.

It reduces new issuance, increases the economic weight of network usage, routes protocol revenues through FIRE, and creates a path for fees, FDC activity, FAssets, Smart Accounts, FCC, and MEV capture to compound back into FLR economics.

This is value capture engineered at the protocol level.

Less reliance on inflation.
More reliance on actual network activity.
