@ndaxio The XRP CBDC Private Ledger is based on the same blockchain technology that powers the XRP Ledger, making it ideally suited for payments.

@hodlmee@ndaxio The ECR20 is the most commonly used - I think. Has the most publicity. Would need a solid researcher on the Government team to investigate and suggest other Blockchains. Cardano? XRP?
@thecroatviking@ndaxio Who knows. Would they have the knowledge to make it open and on a Blockchain? or would they just 3rd party it out to some scam Government contract (one of their approved Vendors who know nothing about crypto). But... Love to see it on XRP or through Cardano. Likely ETH ....
@Grandstander1@ndaxio Yeah. Too many elements that come into play when thinking about govern involvement. Where will it start or stop in terms of 'invasive-ness'. The old 'rule' for in and out of country stock activity (TSE/ NYSE) can be a guideline, but easy to see that they want MORE from digital
@notsofast@ndaxio With the world adopting... what country is better. Last year Portugal was a suggestion, but not this year. Switzerland is good, but you still have to pay taxes... I'm heading down the Grand Cayman in March to investigate. You have any insight into the topic?
@ndaxio It's terrible. Just an invasion of privacy. You want to give your kid 5$ for mowing the lawn, the government will know about it. More importantly, how will the CRA be involved in monitoring the movement of money. It's garbage. Unless a name cannot be attached to the wallet.
