EU Ukraine plan "leaked yesterday" is not so different from Trump's 28-Point Ukraine plan. If anything the EU plan is more honest in its intention than the 28-point plan.

Both plans:
- NATO Style Article 5 guarantees.
- Ukraine becomes an EU member.
- Gradual sanction relief... if Russia behaves.

EU plan: No restrictions placed on Ukraine military.
Trump plan: Ukraine military limit 600K (big military for Europe).

EU plan: Frontline unconditional ceasefire.
Trump plan: Freeze south, 25% Donbass DMZ.

EU plan: Ukraine regains control of ZNPP.
Trump plan: ZNPP goes to IAEA (US control).

EU plan: Russian sovereign assets to rebuild Ukraine.
Trump plan: Russian assets help Ukraine, US earns profits.

The Trump 28-Point peace plan does offer G8 membership to Russia (something the EU plan appears to not offer), so that alone may be enough to sway Russia :)

UK Telegraph resurrects Khodorkovsky (of Yukos fame) to make the case that the Kremlin fears a coup. The article is timed to lessen the blow of Ukraine military collapse in Pokrovsk. No doubt Trump and his EU vassals will read this article and believe they have leverage over Putin and will continue on their escalation trajectory.

The article claims Russia's economy is collapsing, dedicating much of the post to the Russian banking system, hoping to create fear and panic within the system. Psy-op, info war, stuff.

Telegraph claims "destruction of Yukos was the beginning of the end of any kind of market economy or transparency in Russia."
