@HMRCcustomers Unbelievable story - I left the UK at the end of 2017, got insurance tax cheque in August of 2018 at my past living address in the UK and someone had cashed the cheque. HMRC wants a bank statement to prove it wasn't me. Someone has done fraud, yet HMRC tells me: we can't help u.
