You remember October 10?. That crash hit hard. @binance liquidity just vanished. Over 1.7 million accounts liquidated. Nineteen billion dollars gone.

Trump's tariff news sparked it. But Binance froze. APIs failed. Traders locked out. Stops never triggered. Bitcoin dipped to $102,000 on Binance spot. Coinbase held at $105,000. Kraken near $104,500. Small gaps. Big signals.

$ATOM suffered worse. #Cosmos token flashed to $0.001 on #Binance . Zero liquidity. No mercy. @coinbase stayed at $2.54. Stablecoins depegged there too. USDe to $0.66 on Binance. Others barely moved. Thin books met glitches. Exploits slipped through. The whole market lost $560 billion. You felt trapped if you traded there.

All of this goes on as @brian_armstrong and others in crypto are trying to put into place a framework for the USA and abroad for clarity in crypto.

How on earth can Binance not have anything to answer for here?

Where are the voices to put pressure on getting to the bottom of this. I didn't get hurt during the crash because I don't trade with Binance but how can we possibly just ignore the giant elephant in the room and move on as if nothing happened?

People need answers and the market needs clarity, without it this market will honestly struggle to be more than just a place where people gamble and hope the exchange they work with doesn't just dog them and offer a $25 voucher.
