3) Many people say only about 5% of traders are successful, this statistics may be true, but come to think of it, it’s quite not different form every other career paths out there. How many Top programmers for example get to work in the top companies or make let’s say $1M per annum, maybe less than 5% as well. So, you goal should be to be among that 5% of the population who actually succeed with trading and that comes from Dedication.

2) It’s surprising to see that many people are willing to dedicate 4-5 years of their life learning a course in the University or College, investing thousands of dollars into it, sometimes going in into debt, but yet think dedicating 4 years in to learning a skill that has the potential to change your life trajectory and probably investing a couple of some dollars into Mentorship is too much to do, just think about that.

1) Trading is a High Income Skill that can pay you for the rest of your life once you master it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a Get Rich Quick Scheme as many people try to approach it, in fact, in all honesty, trading is actually very difficult, but if you dedicate time to it and master it, it sticks with you forever and can be the money button you press anytime you need it

The market keeps ranging within this region, once it breaks it either ways, expect to see a rally in the upward direction, or some bleed off in the the downward direction, keeping my fingers crossed, and watching to see how it plays out. Let me know, what is your take?

Up by 50%, at this point, there's every tendency to go aggressive in order to pass the challenge, But discipline comes handy at this point, if not, you could go from profits back into loss, I have experienced this a couple of times, and I know how that feels, who else can relate?

4) Choose your platform rightly: you definitely do not want to go through all these stress, and after you managed to make some profits, time for withdrawal, then the firm starts to tell you stories, that can really be painful and you don’t want to experience that as a trader.

3) Tight Risk management: When you’re trading prop firm account, you’ll be forced to realize that protecting your capital is actually more important than making profits. Let’s just assume you already got funded, you’ll do everything possible to keep that account, because if you lose it, you’ll be starting afresh, and just imagine all the stress you went through before passing the challenge, you go think am twice 😀
