Refuting Bybit CEO’s Statement on $Pi Network
1. A Warning from China Does Not Prove Pi Is a Scam
•China has strict regulations on cryptocurrencies, having banned Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance in the past.
•A police warning is not a legal verdict from a court or judicial authority, so it cannot be used as proof that Pi is a scam.
•If Pi were truly a scam, why hasn’t there been an official ban or legal case against it in China?
2. The Allegation That Pi Network Leaked Personal Data Is False
•In its early stages, Pi’s KYC process used a third-party service, Yoti, which only verified passports or driver’s licenses. It did not require national ID cards, residence booklets, or other local identification documents.
•Meanwhile, some hacker forums claimed to have 17GB of Vietnamese users’ KYC data, including national IDs, residence documents, and selfies, and falsely accused Pi of being the source.
•This claim is completely unfounded and baseless, as Pi never collected such documents in its KYC process.
3. Bybit Not Listing Pi Does Not Mean Pi Is a Scam
•If a project is considered a scam just because Bybit has not listed it, does that mean every project not listed on Bybit is a scam too?
•Bybit previously listed Hamster Kombat (HMSTR), but its token price plummeted soon after. This shows that Bybit’s listing decisions are not a reliable standard for determining a project’s legitimacy.
4. If Pi Is a Scam, There Should Be Clear Evidence
•If the Bybit CEO claims Pi is a scam, he must provide concrete evidence of users losing money or being defrauded by the project itself.
•A country’s warning or the lack of a Bybit listing is not sufficient proof to make such a claim.

@PiNewsMedia@PiNetworkLap@PiCoreTeam just like the euro, the dollar, the yen, etc. The value is ultimately determined by the people themselves. By people who have Pi coin and what you do with it. @PiNewsMedia@PiNetworkLap@PiCoreTeam various companies. With the removal of firewall, this will only become more extensive over time. I remember when I first downloaded the Pi app, years ago.
