What percentage of people buying $snek have little to no idea about the coin. I for one am not in the discord or know who runs the project or anything. The FOMO is almost inevitable. I just fear for how many people are in my boat but wont be so lucky - including my future self.

I keep getting asked what I mean by bots and how I saw them working.

It reminds me of the difference between Whales and Killer Whales.

Let me share and explain.

I was once approached by a very intelligent group of young people that wanted me to provide them liquidity for NFT’s. They had built a small working bot platform that did two amazing things.

Many of us, having listed NFT’s, will appreciate how this worked. When you list an #NFT or #CNFT you know that it will show as “listing” for a few mins before it goes live. Their bot scraped for all pending listings by project selected, and let you see the NFT, and the exact price of the listing. It consistently picked up listings 3 to 4 minutes before they posted. And you could buy them before they listed or it could auto buy for you if they were too low below floor.

Have you ever tried to buy an #NFT only to have it fail and you check and its already sold? Maybe it’s because someone was a fraction faster than you. Or maybe you never had a chance at all.

I obviously didn’t agree to fund their efforts. But I was mesmerized and a little frightened by the skill and imagined the potential to find undervalued assets to flip in hot markets.

Now apply that to trading. Imagine being able to buy a #meme coin on chain before anyone else and imagine being able to sell it faster too. That is likely lurking out there now and it didn’t take long.

What I saw today with Stable immediately reminded me of that level of sophistication. And it didn’t take long from the sucess of $SNEK till now to see it.

As @bisoncoin_io said these people are not doing something illegal. They are just better able to work within the constructs of the chain then we all are.

So about Killer Whales…

@UnpopularEL @TalCrypto and others in that circle may joke that I can leverage being a whale to my advantage and there is some truth in that. But whales are not Killer Whales. Orcas while often mistaken for whales are, in fact, large dolphins. Orcas actually got the name Killer Whales because they would help whalers by corralling whales into coves for slaughter by the whalers for blubber. And the whalers would reward the Orca’s with the richest parts of the whale’s remains.

Even a great white shark, in all its majesty and terror, knows to leave its area when Killer Whales come near.

We saw Killer Whales at work today. A complete different type of animal. And I know its best to be very cautious when they are around.
