The @EFDevcon 🇦🇷 week has finally come to a close, after a series of exciting side events and a bustling main conference! Check out our summary below!

Key Observations:
- This year's Devcon had a strong focus on showcasing founders and startups, with multiple demo days and startup pitching events by @base, @ETHGlobal, @akindo_io, and more, being held within the main venue
- Compared to other conferences, most side events were centred around major verticals like Privacy & ZK, DeFi, Payments, Wallets, and AI
- DeFiConnect's various summits also saw major turn outs, especially the Stable and Vault Summits

Sector Highlights:
- DeFi: Perp DEXs and vault products retain the most interest as perp volumes remain consistently high despite market downturn, and demand for onchain yield opportunities increase. @DWFLabs has just launched a $75m DeFi-focused fund to support teams working in this space. The @aave App and v4 testnet were also launched
- Stablecoins: Yield-bearing stablecoins continue to surface, following the success of larger players like @falconfinance and @ethena. Upcoming issuers largely propose new yield sources and collateral types
- Privacy & ZK: Potentially an increase in attention with the recent performance of @Zcash. Lots of chatter around @Starknet and @Ztark_Labs, @aztecnetwork's $AZTEC public sale, and zkTLS applications
- AI: @coinbase's x402 was everywhere, and integrated by almost every agent project. Multiple teams working on shipping tradable agents, AI marketplaces, and workflow optimization agents
- Payments: @joinpeanut presented across multiple demo days, dominating mindshare and showcasing the convenience of connecting to local payment networks. @WalletConnect Pay also proved to be an effective solution for those paying with stables

Argentina Crypto Scene
- Not limited to just Argentina, the presence of crypto within LatAm as a whole is significant, with a growing number of builders
- LatAm remains one of the fastest growing regions in terms of crypto ownership, with Argentina leading at close to ~20%
- Crypto-related solutions are actually seeing local adoption, especially within the stablecoin and payments sectors
