$100,000 from a single trade on $WTI.
i've been saying this for the previous two days that i am long in $WTI from $82... I secured generational wealth...
it's been 6 days since I joined X and I've given you 7 life changing trades. If you're able to trade only one of it you would have paid your loans and bills.
i will be buying my new sports car next week...
It doesn't matter what he does and says. If you are in a trade you will observe these kind of movements. Make yourself big enough to understand these fluctuations. My target remains $100 for $WTI. I am still long from $82.
NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE STOPPING AT ONE KID, OR NONE....
Looked up what it actually costs to raise a child from birth to 18 in this country right now.
$303,418.
That's after tax credits. Before college.
Infant daycare alone averages $17,264 a year in 2026.
That's up 47% since 2023. Three years. Not thirty.
$16,857 a year, every year, for eighteen straight years, just to keep one kid fed, housed and in daycare.
Median household income with two kids: $145,656.
Cost to comfortably afford childcare alone at "affordable" ratios: a household income over $400,000.
So the average family isn't even a third of the way to what the math says they'd need.
WHERE DID "JUST HAVE KIDS, IT'S NOT THAT EXPENSIVE" COME FROM? Genuinely asking. I'll shut up an listen.
I APPLIED TO 47 JOBS OVER SIX MONTHS.
Got 6 interviews. Got 2 offers. Took the better one. Gave my notice.
My current employer immediately counter offered with everything I had asked for in my last three performance reviews and been told wasn't possible.
I asked why it was suddenly possible now. My manager said they didn't want to lose me. I asked why that logic hadn't applied last year. He didn't have an answer. I left anyway.
First time in four years I felt like I had any power at all and it only happened because I was already walking out the door.
DEALER: "Extended warranty is $3,000. Covers major components."
YOU: "transmission just failed. Year four."
DEALER: "Let's check what's covered."
YOU: "That's the whole reason I bought it."
DEALER: "Transmission fall under wear and tear."
YOU: "It's the most expensive part in the car."
DEALER: "Which is exactly why it's excluded."
YOU: "So what's actually covered."
DEALER: "Cup holders. Window switches. Interior trim."
YOU: "I paid $3,000 for cup holders."
DEALER: "You paid for peace of mind."
You didn't buy protection for your car.
You bought a document that protects the dealer from you.
Why is it normal for a landlord to raise your rent $200 a month while doing zero maintenance, but if you're late by three days, they can start eviction paperwork the same afternoon?
you pay on time, every time, for years.
They ignore the broken heater for six weeks in winter.
And when you finally push back, they remind you there are ten other applicants ready to take your place.
This isn't housing. It's a hostage negotiation with a lease attached.
$28 AN HOUR AND YOU'RE STILL ONE EMERGENCY AWAY FROM RUINED
Monthly before taxes: $4,853
After taxes: $3,850
Rent: $1,700
Car + Insurance: $420
Utilities + phone: $260
$1,020 left. One ER visit, one transmission, one month without overtime and you're borrowing money to survive a job you show up the every single day.
This is what "doing everything right" gets you now.
I'm sorry, but seeing an Ozempic ad and a Doordash ad back to back on the same feed, from the same platform, targeting the same person, is fucking diabolical. One's selling you the problem and the other's selling you the fix.
I genuinely believe if more jobs let people skip the commute, people would be less exhausted, actually cook dinner instead of ordering out from stress, and get an extra hour back in their day that used to just disappear in traffic.
We'd be probably be a calmer version of ourselves because of it.
It cracks me up when MAGA fans say "stop blaming trump..... gas and egg prices were high under Biden too!!!" Honey, didn't you vote for Trump because of that? Why's it cool with you now?
"MILLENNIALS DON'T COMMIT"
"MILLENNIALS DON'T BUY HOMES"
"MILLENNIALS DON'T HAVE SAVINGS"
"MILLENNIALS JON HOP TOO MUCH"
Maybe because:
• They graduated into the 2008 financial crisis with degrees that suddenly meant nothing.
• Watched their parents lose homes to a crash they didn't cause.
• Entered a job market that replaced pensions with 401ks right as they started working.
• Were told a degree was mandatory, then watched the cost of that degree triple.
• Job hopped because staying loyal got their parents laid off after thirty years anyway.
But sure. Commitment issues.
