@0xBiZzy Probably a combo of many things, the most common I think from a founder’s viewpoint is de-leveraging their own financial risk (could be a red flag, just good for them, or both). Like any small biz tho, having a founder’s skin in the game creates confidence for growth longterm.

I fucken love Norman.

The more I look at the memes/images,
The more I think about what he represents,
The more I see reactions from other people,

The more I realize just how genius of a character he really is.

At inception, I was thinking very narrowly. All I was focused on was creating an original meme. Not much past that which is probably why he’s so perfect.

Sure we have things like mfers, hposin10, doge, wiff, wassies and countless others that have become staples in the space but these are different. Most are not crypto native and came from existing memes. Or they aren’t multidimensional memes. What i mean by that is they can’t be used by anyone in any situation or the meme is lore based with a defined character (wassies).

What I wanted was a versatile, adaptable, crypto native meme. Think Pepe. Pepe is a global phenomenon that transcends any one defined thing. You can find pepe memes to portray any emotion, or response. He has been reimagined into virtually every existing person, character, animal and thing. He’s even been adapted into most popular memes. The bottom line is everyone knows who Pepe is and anyone can relate to him.

Norman was imagined with these qualities in mind. The character was made to function the same way as pepe. Possibly even more adaptable, more catered to a global audience(just maybe).

That being said, I’m not stupid, I understand the odds of him ever becoming something as big as Pepe are virtually 0 but who knows. Crazier things have happened. At a minimum I hope he can make his mark in our space and maybe even leak into the normie world every now and then as they search for the perfect reaction to their significant others message, or talk shit to their boys in the fantasy group chat.

That’d be cool to me. And why not?
We all have a little Norm in us 🤷‍♂️
