At the traffic light, a delivery rider rests his arms and bends forward to ease the pain in his body.
No one has it easy. Everyone is carrying their own pressure, fighting their own battle, and trying to get through the day. Respect to every hardworking person on the road.
OpenAI Robotics is hiring, looking for exceptional full-stack hardware, ops, systems, and ML engineers to help us program and manufacture robots that are useful for society.
AI should be able to help people in the physical world. In the short term, we are focused on robots to support skilled workers to build our future infrastructure; in the long term, we imagine everyone having a personal robot doing anything they need.
Our world simulation research program, led by Aditya Ramesh (@model_mechanic), has evolved over the past year into OpenAI Robotics. Progress is rapid, and based on a foundation of co-design between robotics hardware and ML research.
If you love working hands-on across the robotics stack and want to build the future, please consider joining us. Send an email with your background and evidence of exceptional accomplishment to: [email protected]
Happy to share that Fatfish AI has successfully secured our first manufacturing Purchase Order (PO) from the industrial sector for the development of a Vision Based Intelligent Module powered by our CAMP (Comprehensive Action Management Platform).
This marks an important milestone for our team as we move beyond humanoid demonstrations into real world industrial deployment and workflow automation. The customer’s own existing robots further strengthen this partnership, creating an excellent opportunity to integrate multiple robot brands and enable seamless collaboration across heterogeneous systems for future industrial applications.
The initial deployment focuses on an AI driven autonomous material handling workflow, including:
• Vision based items identification and grasping
• Real-time perception and task execution
By combining CAMP’s integrated intelligence layers including multimodal perception, behavior planning, edge AI runtime, and action orchestration ,
we are building practical Physical AI solutions that can orchestrate both new and legacy robots from different brands within the same industrial environment.
Special thanks to our customer and engineering team for the trust and support.
More exciting updates on our Vision Based Module Development Plan and CAMP intelligence stack will be shared soon.
Highly competitive newly released T2 humanoid robot (approx. 1.4m height), It delivers next-generation embodied AI computing capability with up to 2000 TOPS AI performance, offering approximately 8–10x higher AI compute capacity compared to conventional humanoid platforms based on Jetson Orin-class architectures.
