A lof of Defi is dying/dead because it was built on an old primitive that nobody uses anymore. It used to be composable like Lego pieces you could slot together and have awesome degenerate feedback loops but a lot of it was all based around UniswapV2 liquidity that evolved.

Most of what grew from the move to Concentrated Liquidity basically branched off into their own silos that no longer really work together synergistically anymore. Long are the days you could add liquidity to an exchange, take the LP token to another site, add yield, repeat.
