@edhauschild@SohoKenchie@andrew_lilico You divert them to an offshore camp (eg off the coast of Scotland) where they are well looked after pending repatriation. But no one reaches the mainland.
The Iranian regime went to my sister’s home and made her to sit in front of their cameras and disown me. She did that publicly.
Then they went after my mother. My tiny mum prepared a gallon of gasoline and told them: “If you force me to disown my daughter, I will burn myself before I do that.”
So, they arrested my brother Ali, in order to punish her, to punish me, to punish our entire family.
I am the daughter of this beautiful Muslim mother. So listen carefully! I am not against Muslims. How could I be? My beloved mother is Muslim.
I am against Islamists who weaponize religion to silence dissent, punish Muslims, and tear families apart.
Criticizing Islamism is not hatred of Muslims. It is standing up for Muslims who are often its first victims, like my own family.
I miss my mum. Every single day. And my dream is to hug her soon.😔💔

Why is it presumed illegal to say "we need to remove Islam from every place of authority"?
Would it be illegal for a disestablishmentarian to say "we need to remove Anglicanism from every place of authority"?
Or is one of those a legitimate political position and the other illegitimate? If so why?
What KJK said is literally the law in France, where Laicité (secularism) a constitutional principle separating all religion from the state.
You don't have to agree with the wider context here to think it is absurd that this political position elicits a *police interview*.
Is it because Islam is protected by the Equality Act? Well so is Christianity, and political philosophies like 'Ethical Veganism' too. Would it be similarly presumed illegal to say "we need to remove Ethical Veganism from every place of authority"? If not why not, and why is Islam different to any other philosophical worldview?
For that matter, why do we treat deeply held religious positions as particularly different compared to equally deeply held political positions?
Why is it presumed that to be opposed to religion or a particular religion in public life is any different to being opposed to a particular political philosophy?
You have to salute Burnham's ambition. He wants to fix homelessness, get NEETs into work, get energy bills down, fix social care, and tackle the cost of living, but none of these issues can be tackled long term without addressing the faulty assumptions underpinning the current settlement.
Homelessness isn't going to resolve without securing the border. You can't get NEETs into work when benefits pay more than working and nobody is hiring, and when immigrant labour will do the job cheaper. You can't fix social care when you're adding more dependents all the time. You can't raise taxes when there's nothing left to tax. You can't fix the cost of living while ramping up energy costs. If you're not willing to look at the fundamentals then all you have to work with are sticking plasters until you run out of money.
We are all bored of saying this and that's why we're angry.
A cleric in Iran says that, Trump shared Masih Alinejad’s post about the execution of an Iranian teenager and then he calls on the Islamic Republic judicial system to stop the executions immediately.
Let that sink in.
Imagine if Obama had done it too. Imagine if Mamdani did it. Imagine if every European leaders head of state posted the faces of these teenagers, every child and every woman on death row, and looked the Islamic Republic in the eye and said: enough.
That kind of unified pressure could save lives.
Instead, some choose silence. And silence, when children are being hanged, will empower the regime to hang more innocent protesters.
@FuturistPartyGB 2, 3 or 5: which can be debated. Your premise is there is something categorically harmful or immoral about psychoactive substances which there isnt - eg alcohol, no problem for most, endorsed by Jesus. Humanity has been trying to get off its face since dawn of time, cant stop it.
Good morning PAYE Pigs! Up and at em!
As you drag your sorry carcasses into the office this fine morning in an honest attempt to barely break even or even worse - struggle to make ends meet - whilst more than half the country sits on its collective arse doing nothing, know this:
Britain has, quietly, crossed the Rubicon.
52.6% of households now receive more from the state than they pay in.
The majority of people you see today are net recipients. The minority (you) fund it.
This means it can no longer be accurately labelled as just a “welfare system”, in fact what we have is a demographic pyramid scheme with better branding.
The numbers, for anyone still pretending:
• 8.4m on Universal Credit, Feb 2026. Highest ever.
• Up from 5.5m in March 2022. 53% rise in under four years.
• ~20% of the working-age population now on UC.
• 50% of UC claimants are in the “no work requirements” regime.
• 4.2m working-age adults on UC, not required to look for work.
• Two-child cap lifted this month. Numbers about to accelerate.
• UC uplift for 2026/27 above inflation. Baked in.
Now consider the net contributor base:
• 52.6% of households net recipient. 47% net contributor.
• 35.1m individuals in net recipient households, +4m since pre-Covid.
• 89% of retirees in net claimant households. 46% of non-retirees, and rising.
• Strip out children, students, dependents: genuine net contributors are ~35-40% of adults.
• Net recipience was 37% of households in 1977. It’s 52.6% today.
• Net recipient headcount up ~11m since 2000.
• Growing fastest among working-age people. Ageing isn’t the driver. Wage stagnation since 2008 is.
The net contributor base is structurally too small to fund the commitments.
Fiscal drag is buying time, not solving anything. The bond market will deliver the verdict the political class refuses to.
A majority of the country votes for a system that takes more from the minority than the minority can sustainably give.
Call that equilibrium what it is: a run rate. Run rates have terminal values. Ours is being priced at the long end of the curve in real time, and nobody in Westminster has the stomach to read the chart.
Starmer is done, what follows will be much much worse. This picture will deteriorate faster and harder.
Britain is cooked… 👀 👇
@DespoticInroad@unherd My goodness what meandering prattling is this. A fact-free rumination which tells us nothing other than that the author likes neither farage nor bitcoin, and understands neither.
⚠️Digital ID + facial recognition
Snuck into the digital ID consultation is an admission that the police would be allowed to repurpose our digital ID photos as facial recognition mugshots.
This is exactly why we MUST say #No2DigitalID

The regime in Iran is firing live bullets at the people of Abdanan right now. They are murdering people as I write this.
President Trump,
Keep your promise.
2010. President Obama shoots down the whole "stop deportations and just let the illegal immigrants be" argument that the Democrat party is currently pushing.
Sovereignty is not negotiable.
You simply cannot lay claim to someone else's territory and then claim there is a dispute and other people have to talk with you—whether you are a dictatorship or a democracy.
But when you have become a democracy, that means the government in power has been put in power by the wishes of the people. You would expect such a government to respect the wishes of other people.
The Islamic Republic is NOT the "Government of Iran." It's a hostile occupying force. - HRH @PahlaviReza
This is how we reclaim Iran from the Islamic terrorists who have occupied us Iranians for the last 47 years.
Iranian women ask everyone to be their voice:
"To all the peoples of the world: in less than 5 days, more than 12,000 people have been murdered in Iran. It is a crime against humanity. Please, be the voice of my people."
A message I just received from inside Tehran:
"This may be the most crowded the streets have been yet. It's really crowded. Seriously crowded. Speechless."
That's how strong Iranians are. Despite the enormity of lives taken they continue to risk their lives for
F R E E D O M.
The regime's killings are pure, unadulterated evil, an obscene moment in history, a stain on humanity. So where are the chants of “from the Gulf to the Caspian Sea, Iran will be free”? Where is Greta Thunberg’s flotilla? Why isn’t Bob Vylan firing up the crowds against the Ayatollahs? Where are the pins, the Shir o Khorshid emblems, the pictures of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, the emojis, the student protestors, the sit-ins, the storming of lectures, the mass demonstrations taking over central London? If you are the wrong kind of victim, the luvvies don’t care about you. As long as a regime is anti-Western and anti-Israel, its atrocities don’t matter, or are whitewashed.
