I SKIPPED A LAUNCH BECAUSE THE DEPLOYER WALLET WAS 11 MINUTES OLD, AND THAT ONE LINE HAS SAVED ME MORE THAN ANY INDICATOR I'VE EVER PAID FOR

night 2, 01:10. the scanner flagged it. depth looked real, 240 holders
in the first nine minutes, chart going up in a straight line

the desk passed

reason: the wallet that deployed the contract was created 11 minutes
before the token

not 11 days. 11 minutes

here's what that means in practice and why it's the cheapest filter i run:

→ a fresh wallet has no history, so nobody can check it
→ no history means no accountability, and no accountability is the
entire business model
→ the same pattern shows up before almost every rug i've been sent

i still watched it. it ran about 400% and i felt stupid for roughly
two hours

then it went to zero while i was asleep

across five nights the desk went $100 → $2,197.67 → $4,962.34 →
$12,161.37 → $17,608 → $23,879. the biggest single contributor to that
number is not a trade. it's the list of things it refused

what the sniper layer actually checks, in order:
→ deployer wallet age
→ funding source, and whether it links to a previous rug
→ whether top 10 holders are clustered or spread
→ whether the pool can absorb our size and still let us out
→ whether the thing is already up more than 200%

most people build the entry first. build the refusal first. the entry
is the easy half and it's the half everyone can copy off a screenshot

and if you're placing these by hand, the fill decides whether any of
this matters. a good skip and a bad entry is still a bad night

comment SNIPER and follow me, i'll DM you the full wiring, free

what's the last thing you skipped that you're still annoyed about?

NFA. DYOR.

[Cryptodips @Cryptodips]

three things that decide a memecoin fill, in order:

1. pool depth at the moment you click, not the market cap
2. whether your size is under 8% of that depth
3. whether the exit route is the same as the entry

nobody loses on the idea. they lose on 2 and 3

if you only build one agent, build the skeptic

not the scout. not the analyst

the one whose entire job is to try to kill the case the analyst just
made, before money moves

I HAD OPUS 5.5 HUNT STRATEGIES FOR FIVE NIGHTS AND THE VALUE WAS IN WHAT IT THREW AWAY

the funnel:
→ 214 candidates pulled from fresh launches and old chart history
→ 31 survived the first filter
→ 6 made it into the desk
→ 2 actually paid

i used to read that as 208 failures

it's not

here are three it rejected and why that mattered:

→ rsi divergence on 5m. looked great across six months of backtest.
died on fees in live. rejected before a single fill
→ momentum chase on launches already up 200% on the day. the win rate is
real and the tail risk ends the account. rejected on principle
→ mean reversion on majors. fine strategy, wrong venue, perps funding
ate the edge

none of those cost me a dollar because none of them got built

the two that paid were boring. buy the sharp drop, sell the bounce. both
would have been obvious to me if i'd just tested instead of reading

the expensive part of strategy hunting was never finding ideas. it was
building the bad ones far enough to find out they were bad

the filter that did most of the work wasn't clever at all. before
anything gets backtested it has to answer one question: what would make
this stop working

if the answer is "nothing, it's just an edge," it gets rejected. every
strategy that survived had a condition attached, and those are the ones
i can actually monitor

WTF!! FIVE OF MY SIX BOTS DID NOTHING FOR FOUR HOURS LAST NIGHT AND THAT WAS THE POINT

the log:
→ 21:05 screener flags 88 fresh pairs
→ 21:05 to 01:10 nothing meets the rule
→ 01:10 one entry, sized, filled, closed +$2,152
→ 01:10 to 06:00 nothing again

four and a half hours of six agents doing absolutely nothing

when i first built this i thought idle meant broken. so i added a
fallback that would take weaker setups so the desk "stayed busy"

night 2 with the fallback on: 9 trades, -$310
night 2 with it off: 2 trades, +$2,764

the fallback was the entire problem

what each one does when there's nothing to do:
→ screener keeps scanning, says nothing
→ mapper stays empty
→ book reader keeps watching the book
→ sizer is irrelevant, no size to decide
→ kill switch is armed and unused
→ settler has nothing to close

a desk that trades once a night and waits is a desk. a desk that trades
nine times because it's bored is a slot machine with extra steps

the other thing i had to build: a way to tell the difference between
"nothing is happening" and "it's broken"

the desk writes one line every 15 minutes whether there's a trade or
not. if that line stops, i get pinged. before i built that i couldn't
tell idle from dead and i restarted it twice on nights it was working

F*CK! I RAN THE SAME STRATEGY ON SOLANA AND ON PERPS FOR FIVE NIGHTS, SAME RULES, AND THE GAP WAS NOT CLOSE

same desk, same entries, same sizer

solana side:
→ 91 launches screened, 6 touched
→ best fill in at $670K, out at $2.81M
→ worst night -$1,140
→ carried most of the $23,879

perps side:
→ 14 setups, 9 taken
→ funding ate 0.04% every 8 hours whether it won or lost
→ liquidation risk meant the sizer had to run at half
→ net was positive but a third of the size

the strategy wasn't the difference. the plumbing was

on solana the whole decision is one transaction, about 400ms, and it's
done. on perps you're holding a position against a clock, paying rent
every 8 hours for the privilege

that's not a strategy problem, that's a venue problem, and most people
blame the wrong one

what made it obvious: i ran both sides for one night with the sizer
identical, which meant perps was taking half size on the same signal. if
the strategy were doing the work, half size would mean half the result

it was closer to a fifth

the other difference is boring and it's the one that matters. on solana
a bad idea costs you the fee and the slippage and then it's over. on
perps a bad idea costs you funding every 8 hours until you admit it

if you're trading both, the fills and the venue decide more than the idea

I GAVE AN AI TWO ANSWERS, YES AND NO, AND IT OUTTRADED MY SIX BOTS

Jev doesn't analyse. it doesn't explain. it answers once, faster than i
can read the question

that's the entire design

the setup:
→ the Grok bots scan, price, size, route, settle
→ Jev sits at one gate and answers one question: do we take this
→ it never says why. it never suggests a better entry

i tried giving it reasoning first. it got slower and worse

here's what happened with "why" enabled:
→ night 2, it talked itself into a coin that had run 300%
→ it wrote four paragraphs of justification
→ that trade lost $271

i stripped it to a single token and the same setup got blocked 20 minutes
later on night 4

the desk went $100 → $2,197.67 → $4,962.34 → $12,161.37 → $17,608
→ $23,879 across five nights with a yes/no gate on the front

the lesson i keep relearning: an agent that has to justify itself will
justify anything

the second thing i'd tell anyone building this: give it a hard timeout.
if Jev hasn't answered in 800ms the answer is no. no retry, no queue

i lost more to a slow yes than to a fast no. a yes that arrives after the
move is just a worse version of not trading

and one thing i got wrong for two nights: i let Jev see the position
size. it started answering differently depending on how much was already
in. stripped that out and the answers got cleaner

[Cryptodips @Cryptodips]

MY DESK MADE $4,710 ON ONE FILL LAST NIGHT AND $1,900 OF THAT DISAPPEARED INTO FEES AND SLIPPAGE

and that's after i fixed it

the trade: in at $670K, out at $2.81M

here's where it went:
→ $640 priority fee to get in at all
→ $890 slippage on a $4,100 size into a $670K pool
→ $370 on the exit, same problem in reverse

gross was $6,610. net was $4,710

most people running bots never look at this. they see the green number
the dashboard shows and assume that's what hit the wallet

three things that actually moved it:
→ splitting the size into 4 fills instead of 1 — cut slippage 40%
→ never entering above 8% of pool depth, no matter how good it looks
→ routing the exit through the same path as the entry instead of
letting the settler pick

the last one was worth $300 on this single trade and i'd been leaving it
on the floor for weeks

the other thing nobody measures: how much you lose by not getting filled
at all. across the run the desk missed 4 entries because the pool was
too thin to take our size. i used to count those as losses

they're not. a fill you can't exit is worse than no fill, and on a $670K
pool a $4,100 size is already most of the book

the fix that mattered most was the least exciting one: i stopped letting
the desk enter above 8% of pool depth, no exceptions. everything after
that was tuning

if you're placing these by hand, the fills are the whole game. the idea
is the easy part

I LEFT $100 IN FRONT OF SIX BOTS FOR FIVE NIGHTS AND THE NIGHT IT LOST MONEY TAUGHT ME MORE THAN THE NIGHT IT MADE $4,710

everyone posts the green nights. here's the one that didn't work

the ladder:
→ night 1 $2,197.67
→ night 2 $4,962.34
→ night 3 $12,161.37
→ night 4 $17,608
→ night 5 $23,879

night 4 is the one nobody asks about

it opened with a fill at 21:40 and was down $1,140 by midnight. the desk
kept buying into a chart that kept making lower lows

i woke up, saw red, and did nothing

that's the whole trick and it's the hardest part

what actually saved it:
→ the sizer had already capped the position at 4% before i went to bed
→ the kill switch was set on time, not on price — 90 minutes, then flatten
→ the settler closed everything at 04:20, down $1,140 on the night

one bad night inside a good run is noise. one bad night with no size cap
is how people lose the whole account

the part i'd change: i let it keep buying for 40 minutes longer than the
rule allowed, because the setup looked good. it never looks bad

the size cap is the only rule i'd refuse to remove. 4% of the desk per
position, set before the night starts, never raised mid-run. every
blow-up i've watched had that one missing

i also stopped watching. the first three nights i refreshed every 20
minutes and it changed nothing except how tired i was

[Cryptodips @Cryptodips]

🚨 WARNING: SOMETHING TERRIBLE WILL HAPPEN ON MONDAY

I warned you Bitcoin would reject $87K and dump into the $81K-$83K range.

The relief rally is now officially over, and late buyers will get trapped again.

The plan is simple:

$83K → $71K → $62K → $57K → $49K

Save this chart and don’t become exit liquidity.

Remember:

I publicly called Bitcoin’s $17K bottom in 2022 and the $126K top in 2025.

Then I called the $58K local bottom in 2026.

My next call will be posted here first.

Follow and turn on notifications.

MY CONTROL AGENT BLOCKED A TRADE LAST NIGHT AND IT WAS WRONG, AND I'M STILL GLAD IT'S THERE

night 3, desk at $12,161.37

01:50 a worker asked to size into a coin that had just reclaimed its
vwap. clean setup, real depth, volume climbing

control said no. reason: wallet cluster moved 6 minutes earlier

i checked it in the morning. the wallets moved, but they were taking
profit on a different chart. it was a false positive

that coin ran another 60% without us

here's why i'm not touching the rule:

the agent has blocked 31 actions across five nights
29 of those would have been bad
1 saved the entire run (night 3, that coin dumped 71%)
1 cost me a trade i wanted

a filter that's right 94% of the time and never gets tired beats me at
03:00 with four tabs open

what it actually does, in plain words:
→ reads every action before it executes
→ never decides, only blocks
→ returns the answer raw, no opinion, no suggestion

the last part matters. the moment it starts suggesting, it starts
rationalising

one more thing about it: it can't be overridden from inside the run. i
have to step outside, flip a flag, and restart the desk. that 40 seconds
of friction has stopped me from overriding it on impulse more times than
i'd like to admit

and the one time i did override it, night 4, i took a -$285 fill that
the block had been right about
