Claimed my steaming $CTR airdrop from @citrea_xyz after riding through devnet, testnet, and finally mainnet.
It’s honestly mixed feelings for me right now because a large part of the community I onboarded into Citrea got nothing despite the time, effort, and consistency they put in. I really feel the team could’ve handled the eligibility criteria better to accommodate more active mainnet users and community members.
To everyone who didn’t make it in, hopefully bigger wins come with the next opportunities ahead.
Still, grateful to Citrea for the reward 🤝

ETF FLOWS: THE BIG PICTURE
October’s ETF flows have been highly inconsistent.
Bitcoin attracted hundreds of millions in daily inflows, only to see much of that momentum reverse within days.
Key moves:
☑ Oct. 7: BTC ETFs lost $484.9M.
☑ Oct. 19: BTC ETFs gained $526.7M.
☑ Oct. 20: BTC ETFs gained $23.2M.
☑ Oct. 21: BTC ETFs gained another $524.8M.
☑ Oct. 22: BTC ETFs lost $635.6M.
☑ Oct. 23: BTC ETFs lost another $137.9M.
The trading week of October 19–23 ended with Bitcoin ETFs still net positive by approximately $301.2M, despite the late-week redemptions.
Ethereum told a different story.
ETH ETFs lost approximately $220.7M during the same trading week, while Solana ETFs recorded roughly $17.6M in outflows.
What the data tells us:
➠ Bitcoin ETF demand remains highly volatile.
➠ Ethereum flows have faced more persistent pressure.
➠ Large daily inflows do not guarantee sustained demand.
➠One session is not enough to confirm a lasting trend.
The next signal to watch is whether Bitcoin flows stabilize and ETH outflows begin to ease.

CDN MORNING NUGGET | EDITION 20
Good morning, everyone.
Markets are under pressure as tech stocks slide and oil surges on rising Middle East supply risks.
Bitcoin remains near $82,000, while investors continue pouring money into spot BTC ETFs despite the market uncertainty.
bitcoin:native around $82k
ethereum:native around $2.4k
solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 a bit above $100
$XRP holding $1.3
Crypto Market
ETF inflows continue: US spot bitcoin ETFs attracted $528.4 million on Wednesday, taking inflows above $1 billion over three sessions.
BlackRock’s IBIT led with $235 million, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC at $212.7 million. ether ETFs also returned to positive flows with $14.9 million.
Flows do not guarantee a rally: DWF Labs’ review of 694 trading days found that ETF investors generally added money during major rallies and pulled funds during sharp declines. inflows matter, but they are not a reliable prediction of the next move.
Web3 & Policy
Bitcoin seizure case: Chinese prosecutors are seeking to confiscate more than 61,800 BTC tied to a $5.7 billion fraud case. ownership claims remain under legal dispute.
Ethereum upgrade: the planned Glamsterdam upgrade on the Hoodi testnet has been postponed while developers investigate concerns involving EIP-8037. this is a testnet delay, not a confirmed mainnet postponement.
JPMorgan expands on Solana: two tokenized money market funds are now available on Solana for qualified US investors through Morgan Money.
Stablecoin rewards debate: the OCC has issued its final GENIUS Act rule, but the treatment of exchange rewards remains a regulatory question. existing programmes will not automatically be exempt from scrutiny.
Macro & Economy
Tech stocks retreat: the Nasdaq fell 2.6% on Thursday and the S&P 500 lost 1.2%, as worries over AI spending weighed on sentiment. Meta dropped 7% and Tesla fell 3.1%.
Oil hits a five-month high: WTI settled at $99.47 a barrel, while Brent climbed to $113.17 amid rising Middle East supply concerns and attacks on Saudi infrastructure.
Treasury yields fall: investors moved towards US government bonds amid market uncertainty, pushing the 10-year yield down sharply.
Jobs remain resilient: US initial jobless claims fell to 194,000, below forecasts of 200,000. the strong labour market and higher energy prices add complexity ahead of the October 28 Fed decision.
Nigeria Watch
cash held outside Nigerian banks rose to ₦4.92 trillion in September, up from ₦4.87 trillion in August.
broad money supply also increased to ₦146.6 trillion, according to CBN data.
What to watch today
➛ whether BTC can hold around $81,000 to $82,000
➛ whether bitcoin ETF inflows continue despite market weakness
➛ oil prices and further developments across the Middle East
➛ follow-through in tech stocks after Thursday’s sell-off
➛ positioning ahead of next week’s Fed decision
What to watch tomorrow
➛ whether crypto stabilises after this week’s volatility
➛ weekend liquidity and the risk of sharper price swings
➛ any new developments around stablecoin rules and Ethereum’s testnet upgrade
The Setup
ETF demand is still visible, but it has not removed the pressure on prices. oil, tech earnings and Fed expectations remain key drivers of sentiment.
watch the flows, but keep an eye on the bigger picture.
stay informed. stay ahead.
Respost for others and stay tuned for the next edition.
