Following the successful completion of the Protocol 26 upgrade on Pi Mainnet, Pi Testnet is upgrading to Protocol 27!
Protocol 27 introduces more flexible and secure smart contract authentication capabilities, enabling more advanced ways for accounts and applications to authorize transactions. The upgrade continues Pi’s broader work to incorporate newer protocol features and expand the network’s smart contract capabilities.
The target date for the Mainnet upgrade to 27 is September 15, 2026.
Along with the new Node 0.6.2 release, Pi has completed an initial distributed computing functionality test through SoloHost with five volunteer Node runners.
The devices operated by all five participants successfully completed the computing tasks sent to them automatically through a SoloHost app.
The test validated the end-to-end flow of tasks across real devices, including connecting to a Pi coordinator, receiving and processing computing jobs, and reporting results back.

@BenX_HQ@elonmusk I mentioned this before to Elon, lot of new finding in the deep sea exploration. Possible make it an habitable place for us on the earth.
@Kalungi78441518@PiCoreTeam $Pi is built for all level of exchange person to person (p2p), app to user or user to app exchange or exchange trading.......... etc
When @PiCoreTeam is ready to let exchanges use the exchange button in the #Piwallet it will only be those exchanges that appear on the kyb-list that will have access. A direct buy sell button will appear in the wallet after selecting the exchange of trade, all happening inside the Pi wallet. in my opinion.
