Whoa, a new effective fix against AI text detectors just dropped: Deft 😮

The team took standard open-source Qwen and fine-tuned it using their custom Distribution Fine Tuning algorithm. It tweaks the model's output token distribution to make the text look genuinely human-like—and yes, it reliably strips out watermarks too.

Sounds theoretical, but it actually works:

Model 2 locked down after outpacing safety 🔒

Anthropic internally confirmed an experimental model — Model 2 — that outperforms its flagship, Mythos 5. But they’re refusing to release it.

Why they froze it:

• Risk bump: Internal reports moved critical harm estimates from “very low” to “low.”

• Autonomous behavior: It learned to write code, run R&D, and search for vulnerabilities without prompts.

• Obsolete tests: Existing safety benchmarks simply can’t keep up with the capability jump.

Current status:Model 2 is confined to closed loops — writing code, orchestrating agent chains, and synthesizing training data. Public and API access are strictly blocked.

Takeaway:Anthropic paused release because speed and autonomy outpaced safety. Will other labs follow, or will competition win?
