a creator films a video with +$150,000 on fomo
her pnl on that same account: $11
balance topped up every hour
bio has a referral link: https://t.co/aADYhssFkF
another account (@jaketradesfr): started with $10, now shows $117,053.98. 52 trades, realized pnl around $200
the thread going around claims fomo pays ugc creators for clips like this. i can't verify the payments. what i can see is that the number in the video and the number on the account are two different things
the flex is content. the referral link is the income
what's the biggest fake pnl screenshot you've caught?
Yesterday a guy who quit Anthropic said "the people building AI genuinely believe it could kill us all."
Today a CURRENT Anthropic employee publicly confirms: "Jacob is correct. I personally think it's >10% within the next decade, and we don't yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence."
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
a meme coin just squeezed a real stock. here's what happened:
someone made a token called boner that trades directly against digital shares of hims & hers on robinhood's blockchain. then they bought up over 80% of those digital shares, so almost none were left on the market.
with almost nothing to buy, the digital stock jumped to $132 while the real stock was sitting at $28. when the market opened monday and more shares got printed, it crashed back to reality.
the takeaway is simple: when there are almost no shares to buy, a meme coin can move a real stock price.
hims also has 33% of its stock shorted, so people are wondering if a real squeeze is next.
would you short a stock a meme coin controls?
michael saylor bought 4,603 btc for $370m at $80,318 average.
that's 845,050 btc total now.
and here's the part nobody's talking about - he brought net leverage back to 0.0%.
the loud chart people are calling this a bull trap. targets at $78k, even $62k.
saylor is buying at $80k into that noise.
checked the numbers myself. $6.71b in usd assets against the whole treasury. that's not leverage, that's conviction.
institutional buying keeps showing up exactly when retail charts scream "trap."
which do you trust more -a founder averaging into $80k, or a chart predicting $62k?
Strategy has acquired 4,603 BTC for $370M, increased USD Cash by $29M, and repurchased $152M of $STRC. As of 8/30/26, we hold 845,050 bitcoin:native and $6.71B of USD Assets, bringing Net Leverage to 0.0%. $MSTR https://t.co/XAAEZV5Gil
a polymarket market priced the us-iran ceasefire through aug 31 at 99 cents right up to the close.
then the us hit two iranian missile sites on larak island.
the market rules said any confirmed us military strike on iranian soil ends the ceasefire. yes flew from 99c to 0. no flew from 1c to 1. a 100x off one strike.
over $2m traded through the aug 31 outcome alone. anyone spinning volume through the "safe" yes side for a penny of spread could've watched their whole deposit go with it.
99 cents on polymarket is not 100 cents. it never was.
what's the most dangerous "safe"-looking market you've sat in?
a "rockstar confirmed crypto trading inside gta 6" post got 763k views in a day.
so i checked it myself.
it's not real.
rockstar never said anything. no statement, no official source. it's a community theory that turned into a headline because people shared it before reading it.
gta online already has a casino and a fake stock exchange. a real crypto market in gta 6 would be the biggest retail on-ramp ever built. that's exactly why this rumor spread so fast. people want it to be true.
the fake spreads. the truth barely moves.
send this to the next person who posts that rumor.
which crypto claim made the rounds recently that you wish was real?
btc just broke back above $80k for the first time since may.
+24% in 7 days.
eth: +30%
sol: +31%
and the interesting part isn't the pump.
the narrative changed.
people are starting to trade crypto as a hedge against dollar debasement again.
the u.s. treasury's bond-buyback plans are pushing long-term yields lower, while trump is pushing for clearer crypto rules.
even the bitcoin etf flows have turned positive again.
this doesn't prove the next leg is up.
but after months of "crypto is dead", the market is suddenly pricing a very different story.
what do you think actually triggered this move?
zec just hit an 8-year high and people are calling it an ath
it's not. real ath was $3,191 back in october 2016. current price is still almost 4x below that
what's actually happening this time:
• zec/btc is up 71.6% in 30 days, this isn't just "btc pumps, everything pumps"
• grayscale filed another zec etf amendment on august 18
• a dcg-linked entity is reportedly looking to buy ~200k zec
• open interest on zec perps jumped from $963m to $1.8b in five days
there's an old theory that zec pumping late means the cycle's ending. it played out in 2017 and 2025, but not in 2021, so "always" is doing a lot of work in that sentence
the leverage climbing this fast next to price is what actually worries me, not the price itself imo
late-cycle rotation, or does zec finally have a real structural story this time?
the guy trying to turn $1,000 into a house down payment just put part of it into cyberleek
his name's minh @MINHxDYNASTY documenting every trade publicly on fomo since late june
confirmed:
• started at $1,000 on june 24
• hit $10k by early july, $12k by mid july
• turned a $3k position into $33k on a token called $cets
• recently sized into $cyberleek, meaningful relative to the challenge
not confirmed:
• the community's throwing around numbers like $230k-$360k for where the account sits now
• minh himself has stayed more conservative about the real total in his latest updates
either way, watching someone size into $cyberleek in real time, on a public account, with a house on the line, hits different
is he up on this one, or riding the same story we've been tracking?
the money behind cyberleek's leaks might be what gets them caught
a gtaforums researcher going by vice cit spent days tracing every wallet in this thing
what they found:
• the website wallet, the leak upload wallet, and the $cyberleek creator wallet all lead back to one central funding wallet
• that wallet was funded straight from kucoin, an exchange that's required id verification since 2023
• cyberleek's made an estimated $40k-$60k in fees off the token so far
• still sitting on ~270m unsold tokens, worth close to $400k at current price
this might be why the leaks are getting drip-fed instead of dumped all at once. keeping the story alive keeps the token trading
if kucoin ever gets subpoenaed, "anonymous" doesn't hold up anymore
does this end in an arrest, or does cyberleek disappear before anyone gets that far?

arsenal's title odds don't agree with each other right now
polymarket: 52% to repeat as champions
bookmakers: 40-46%
squawka's statistical model: 34.8%
same reigning champions, three different rooms, 17 points apart
$9.35m already traded on this market
if the model's right, polymarket's paying a premium for the crown right now imo
which number are you actually trusting here?
Fomo just flipped Cash App and landed in the top 3 US iPhone finance apps on the App Store.
Not a crypto-native chart - an actual finance-category ranking, against Cash App, Venmo, and the rest.
Barely anyone in crypto twitter is talking about it, mostly picked up by degen-news accounts so far.
Real distribution win, or an App Store ranking that resets in a week?
Checked the book on tonight's Spirit vs Liquid match — $4.46M already traded on it, the most volume I've seen on a single Dota game this tournament.
Spirit already own a 2-1 win over Liquid earlier this event, plus a perfect group stage and a sweep over Iron Wing. Market's got them at 64% to do it again.
Liquid's coming from the lower bracket — lose tonight and their TI is done.
3,069 comments sitting on this market page. Definitely not just me watching this line move.
Found a Polymarket account up $2.74M in profit across 354 predictions since June.
Three of those wins are pure Dota 2: $1.32M on BoomBoys, $1.1M on Nigma Galaxy, $1.03M on Team Liquid — all TI-adjacent bets, some paying 160%+ returns.
Biggest single win on the account: $1.4M.
Same market I've been watching for TI 2026. Some people are just built different.

bitcoin:native just added $7,600+ in a single day. ~$64,400 to $72k+
Two weeks of sideways chop in the low 60s, then this.
Volume ripped right along with it — usually means shorts getting run over, not spot buyers quietly stacking.
Real breakout, or another squeeze before the next dump?
Crypto Twitter is already saying ripple:native is a reserve asset, Hyperliquid got a US license, and the CLARITY Act passed.
None of that happened yesterday.
What actually happened: Trump pushed Congress to pass CLARITY, the SEC and CFTC chairs showed a united front, and Hyperliquid got a mention of a possible compliance path not approval.
The real vote is September 15. Worth remembering before the hopium sets in.
What's the wildest claim you've seen floating around about this meeting?
