Prove you’re real - human or AI - and not a fake account, using just your phone (Feat. @billions_ntwk )

Forget iris-scans or fingerprint registrations.

With Billions Network, we’re talking about verifying you’re real using a simple combo:
🍀passport/ID + face check + zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) 🍀

Recently they ran a launch-pad via Kaito and many of us are quietly expecting a TGE to come soon - so naturally, my interest is piqued.

If someone asked me, “Billions — what is it?” I’d answer in one line:
Billions use your smartphone to prove you’re you, encrypt that proof (ZK) and anchor it on-chain.

So how exactly does this verification process work? Let’s dive in:

1️⃣ Identity Check
Open the Billions mobile app and scan your official ID (passport, driver’s licence, national ID).
The key: the photo is processed on-device, not sent to a server.
The app checks the document’s validity and detects falsification.

2️⃣ Liveness / Face Check
Using the smartphone camera, the app verifies you’re a live person in front of the camera — not a still image or deep-fake. You might blink, turn your head, etc., to demonstrate you’re real.

3️⃣ Proof of Uniqueness (PoU)
To prevent one person from creating multiple accounts, Billions uses zero-knowledge proof technologies.
You don’t explicitly prove “I’ve already registered”, but the system verifies “this person is unique”.
It knows you are one of a kind, but not who you are.

“I’m already in Billions” can be proven in encrypted form without revealing your identity.

4️⃣ Issuance of Verifiable Credential (VC)
Once verified, you receive a credential that says: “This user is a real, unique person.”
This VC is encrypted and stored on-chain (or in the system) and can be reused.
Other apps/platforms can recognise you as a “Billions-verified user” — meaning you don’t need to redo KYC every time.
