Artist spotlight #1

We are kicking this off with the one and only @DesLucrece which I have been collecting for over 2 years now.

The first moment I saw his art, it captured me and intrigued me. It made me want to look closer to the art and the person behind it.

In the years to come I learned to know the person behind the art better and better and the more I appreciated him. He is such a great person who is always trying to be innovative, kind, taking care of his community and just grinding out there.

Sometimes you feel like hey, I haven’t heard from him a bit, but in the shadows he is always contributing, creating and thinking of new ways to dazzle your mind.

Most people will know him for his iconic style, which most of the times is either black and blue or red and blue, and animated.

One of his key collections is ‘Des Monsters’. Des Monsters even made it to Sothebys and the Monsters have been going up to over 20 ETH. Each monster gives you a monthly airdrop called Spawns.

We have seen him dabble in the open edition as well with his Proceed w/ Caution which was a great success as it was gamified and fun.

Over the years I have been able to get some of his amazing 1/1s. I got one of his most amazing 1/1s on Superrare and also his only piece that is multi colored and animated, this to me is the holy grail in his collection.

I like for art to be different and captivate me, even though on the first sight you might not understand the art pieces, all of them have a deeper story behind them. So it’s not just art on it’s own.
