@MelissaVodicka Yes, our institution has pharmacists available as an excellent resource and our charting system calculates how much acetaminophen the patient has received in a 24hour period and will give a warning if close to the max dose. @UFNursing #livertoxicity #pediatrics #ACPCPChat

In Dalzell et al., (2022) article, information is compared on mortality and #postoperative complications on living donor #livertransplants (LDLT) and split liver transplants (SLT) using left lateral segment graft (LLS). @DaniSebbens @StaceSears @AmandaEstravit @hattmughes

It was found that #Pediatrics with LD graft (9.8%) had lower episodes of rejection/failure than SLT graft (14.6%). This literature also mentions that the appropriate lower donor age limit for SLT has not yet been studied or defined. What are your thoughts on this? #UFnursing
