A bedroom in Harmony villa at Project Chimps. 14 chimps are crammed into this building, with only a concrete porch to go "outdoors." You can see a wound on Sky's wrist, where she chewed her skin raw from the anxiety.

"Outdoor access" at Project Chimps sanctuary. Over 200 acres, mostly developed for tourism while 77 chimps only have access to 5, which they must rotate and share. The chimps' days look exactly like this, at an HSUS sanctuary.

Since 2017, water stopped working at #ProjectChimps many times. The chimps had no drinking water. A gallon pvc tube for 14-20 chimps to share was hung on the mesh. See images for caregiver accounts. @HumaneSociety funds PC with millions. Why does this happen? #ChimpsDeserveBetter

In May, Justin at #ProjectChimps was left w/broken arm for almost a month with no x-rays/diagnostics. He eventually healed enough on his own to resume his routine. A true sanctuary wouldn't leave a possible broken bone unexamined. Med Records attached. #ChimpsDeserveBetter

Someone at #ProjectChimps reached out to share evidence that a chimp who died in 2018 (Sopulu) was held at PC for a week before necropsy. He'd recently been sedated for vasectomy w/no cardiac diagnostics, despite heart disease being a common cause of death. #ChimpsDeserveBetter
