Some days I’m a writer.
Some days I’m a Walmart team lead trying to hold an entire shift together on caffeine and determination.
Most days I’m both at the same time.
I published a book while recovering from surgery.
Started another one while emotionally exhausted.
And somehow still managed to wash dishes and argue with teenagers about cups left in bedrooms.
We really do live entire lifetimes in one day.
What being forced to slow down taught me 🧵
Points:
•I was more exhausted than I admitted
•I tied my worth to productivity
•Rest felt uncomfortable at first
•My mind never stops moving
But slowing down changed something in me.
