Atlantis: The Lost Empire and the Area Zero Connection
Some of you may have heard of a connection between Atlantis the Lost Empire and the story of Area Zero in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Check out this thread for some fascinating key parallels!
@anvilofyahweh@Danuscript “Antichrist blasphemies.” You heretics are insufferable. My God of love doesn’t torture anyone in hellfire for eternity, and He certainly isn’t some vague, pagan three god abomination posing as the One YHWH. I’m glad He’s more patient than me. May He have mercy on you.
@anvilofyahweh@Danuscript Tell me where the sidestep is? You're the one who's qualified in Greek, no? The burden of proof of monogenes theos meaning “The only Son, who is God” and not “only-begotten god” is on YOU. It’s a bold claim, but then again Trinitarians have been twisting scripture for centuries.
@anvilofyahweh@Danuscript For someone so erudite, you seem profoundly ignorant to the academically established origins of the doctrine of the Trinity coming from middle Platonism and Neoplatonism. 🫢
@thamoonman_ It’s true. I grew up in rural Australia, I’ve lived in rural places and now in the city, and rural places are genuinely backwards. Disconnected from services, trends, decent education, social opportunities. Compare that to the city where you’ve got the cutting edge, and yeah…
@faumuina_david@LuanaGoriss@Exodus15_11 He was crucified for “blasphemy.” You know when they formally accused him? When he said he was the Son of God and would sit at the RIGHT HAND of God. Please show me where explicitly in that statement he said I’m God. A son sitting at the right hand of God is separate to God.
@ansAZ14@MarcoMortensen It IS arbitrary because you ignore other aspects of the human nature in order to support an argument not found in scripture. The sheer irony is that you are using Platonism to defend Platonism, not scripture to defend scripture. It’s not just arbitrary. It’s absurd.
@ansAZ14@MarcoMortensen It’s based in Platonic philosophy, not scripture. The Bible says we have spirit, mind, heart, soul, body, flesh and strength. Jesus directs us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength. Where is your Platonic trinity there?
@idmpredator Human constructs that fit their zeitgeists. Times change, therefore so do societies and the archetypes within our collective cognition and mental worlds. We recognise that these spaces serve limited functions separate from nature, and therefore, when empty, they feel uncanny.
@gangatoday1 I already see how it consumes you. It has consumed me since the Congress hearings, but the more I’ve learned, the more I’ve pulled back, and the less they’ve interfered directly. They’re gonna keep annoying us until their superiors wallop them, but I think it’s best to pull back.
@gangatoday1 Seems like focus/attention is the real currency in question here. I wish for you to find freedom from all of this, truly. I do understand your situation (admittedly only partly), but if I were you, I would drop out entirely just to spite them. The only way to win is to not play.
