Especially a grown person who couldn't even meet his own needs but expected me to cater to him. Dropping that dead weight freed me to focus just on myself and my kids.

@SumiiElliott16 @gaialect Very well said! I love my kids and would never trade them. Single parenting within a marriage is so dang difficult. I'm recently divorced, and the night and day difference I feel is astounding. More energy and more time to be the mom I wanted to be.
