Show Up.
This is often the most important step to success.
- Show up to the weight room.
- Show up in the classroom.
- Show up to your workout.
- Show up at practice.
- Show up to the gym.
With Relentless Consistency.
Every Day.
A phone call.
So easy, free, and can make a world of difference.
I believe as leaders (which again, is ALL of us), we have to be celebrating those around us.
Whether you're a classroom teacher, instructional aide, principal, parent, or friend, you can celebrate those around you with a simple phone call.
Make it a notification on your calendar, to once a week stop and call the family of a student, co-worker, or friend and tell their family how amazing they are!
It only takes a few minutes but can make a world of difference.
To be clear, it doesn't have to be done with just children. This works with ANYONE.
So stop what you're doing and take a few minutes to call a loved one of someone and brag on their person.
It'll lift your mood too.

Make Tier 1 the priority
Make Tier 1 the priority
Make Tier 1 the priority
Tiers 2 & 3 are a direct reflection of how effective your Tier 1 is.
Design Tier 1 so that it's all it should be for learners & teachers.
It's the only way things change to benefit everyone.
If we could get the idea that the kids don't come to school to do work for us, but instead they come to school to experience learning designed by us, we might see some real changes.
Our job is to design for learning to happen.
Not to come up with work for kids to do.
What an honor to celebrate these four outstanding middle school educators for being selected as finalists for @OMLEA1 Educator of the Year. You certainly put kids first. Thank you for a job well done! @CCOSA @AMLE
Are you ready to get your game on? Can't wait to connect and learn with middle-level leaders from across Oklahoma this week. Time to re-invent servant leadership! @CCOSA @NASSP @OASSP1
@BixbyPSSupt: Schools are complex organizations that cannot be effectively distilled to a single letter grade. Imagine receiving only a single, summative letter grade without any details from your doctor after your next physical. https://t.co/NT6IwTizwZ via @tulsaworld
