Burnham should wait and challenge in the run up to the next General Election, then try to get elected by the people. Changing the PM 7 times in 10 years is embarrassing for this country.
Starmer should fight for his leadership, he was elected in 24. Party members should not be deciding who is PM. If he wins, everyone against him should be sent to the back benches. #UKPolitics
@MoarSahitoPTI Rosuvastatin is hydrophilic, less likely to cross the blood brain barrier and enter muscle cells. Reducing LDL-C with a lower risk of side effects.
@2manypeople4me The average GP does not work 39 hours per week, the NHS needs to look at that much closer. All the best moving forward with the your workforce plan.
@ClearThinker66 Theres a lot of focus on the negative there, which is the typical discourse on this platform. Maybe if the MDT all worked together effectively, patients would get a better service.
@2manypeople4me So a GP practice that receives 200 e-consults per day. You feel, not 1 single request coming through that triage could be dealt with in community pharmacy.
@ClearThinker66@TheSnoozeDoctor Pharmacy First referrals can come from GP practices to community pharmacies but uptake has been limited. This article explains more: https://t.co/kFl6EB37z9
@ClearThinker66@TheSnoozeDoctor In terms of reducing GP workload the data is difficult to confirm. Many GPs haven’t embraced effective triage to pharmacy, preferring to increase UTC workloads. I would imagine the majority of PF consults are self-refer/walk-ins.
@TheSnoozeDoctor Not sure if you are aware of the ‘Pharmacy First’ criteria but 3 of those issues would be red flags and sent to GP.
The shingles ‘misdiagnosis’ I am unsure on. A non supply consultation would lead the patient to see GP. Antivirals would only be supplied if the criteria is met
@TheSnoozeDoctor It’s a very protocol driven service with defined scope. They won’t be dealing with chest pain etc. Pharmacists can apply the criteria appropriately, make a supply if needed or refer. All patients are safety netted to seek further advice from GP if symptoms do not resolve.
