The body that carried you through everything – the wars, the work, the wildness of youth – begins to ask for more than you can give it.
Joints that never complained now speak in the mornings. Eyes that once took in everything now flinch at the light. Breathing, which never required a single thought, starts needing little pauses. But none of that is the hardest part.
The hardest part is the quiet.
At a certain age, you reach for the phone and remember there is no one left to call. The people who knew you when you were young – who remember the same summers, the same streets, the same faces – are gone. One by one, then all at once, until the memories you carry, have no one left to share them with.
So you tell the story anyway. To whoever will listen. With a little more color than perhaps, the truth deserves.
With a touch of pride you’ve earned and a grief you don’t always name. You know the person across from you wasn’t there. You know they can’t quite feel it this the way you do. But you tell them. Because the telling is the holding on.
Those stories are not just memories. They are the proof that a life was lived. That people were loved. That things mattered. And if no one asked for them – you offer them anyway, quietly, like setting something down on a table and hoping someone picks it up.
Old age is not simply what happens to a face or a body. It is memories looking for a place to rest. And what an old person needs – more than advice, more than solutions, more than someone telling them how to feel – is simply someone willing to sit down, be still, and listen. Not to fix anything. Just to be there. That is the whole gift. And it cost nothing. Wild whispers.

🔴🗳️ ‘Alito’ Moreno descartó que el PRI vaya a tener un candidato externo en el 2030, ‘Aquí se necesita una gente profesional’

“La gente quiere que pongamos uno que parece honesto, que es buena persona. ¿Quién chingados les ha dicho que eso quiere la gente? La gente lo que quiere hoy es quién resuelve los problemas del país. Esto no es de buenas personas, no porque nosotros no lo seamos, lo somos”; El dirigente del @PRI_Nacional, Alejandro @alitomorenoc, anunció que el partido dejará de respaldar candidaturas externas o ciudadanas al considerar que dicha estrategia no ofreció los resultados esperados en los procesos electorales de 2018 y 2024.

Sostuvo que el tricolor cuenta con perfiles propios y competitivos para dar la batalla electoral por sí mismo, respaldando la fuerza de su estructura con los casi siete millones de votos obtenidos en la elección de 2024, cifra que a su juicio demuestra la viabilidad de competir en las urnas sin la necesidad de recurrir a perfiles ajenos a su militancia, “En el 18 nos dieron una chinga y en el 24 una super madriza, ¿no? Así de claro para hacer que perdimos todo. O como lo decimos, ¿no? ¡Ah! No, pero ya, dos veces ya nos quedó claro, no, vamos una tercera, no, no ¡váyanse al carajo yo no voy a hacer eso!”

Miren, yo sé que el PRI todavía tiene muchas deudas con México, pero también sé que ellos levantaron al país después de la Revolución...si para quitar a M0RENA del poder hay que votar por ellos hagámoslo...Coahuila empezó, que mañana también lo haga todo el país 🙂🇲🇽

Con los $23 mil millones de pesos que Brugada gastó en pintar ajolotes y puentes de morado, construir un paseo elevado inútil y poner candelabros en el Metro habríamos podido:

*Comprar 76 trenes nuevos del Metro para agilizar el servicio.
*Sustituir 3,526 km de drenaje profundo para dejar de inundarnos.
*Tapar 7.6 millones de baches.

La corrupción y la ineptitud nos sale MUY CARA.
